  • ILL

  • Is this gonna be on Hot Sauce Committee Part 1? The New Reactionaries version was on Part 2.

  • @gpoop23 naw they scrapped this version....HSCP1 will be entirely new songs

  • Straight Fire! The beat and the flows! When I first heard this track it was like a long overdue breath of fresh air blasting me in my face. The definition of NASTY! Love it!

  • lol why they in the produce section

  • @nasty94nas cuz this song is bananas lol

  • @stevehrz84 YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • good, pure shit

  • I am 42 und heard all of them nu gangstaz. Beastie Boys stand for Rap the rest is crap.

  • @pornobierchamp your wack as shit wtf

  • ヤバイ

  • enemem can suck my dick. these guys are beast

  • This song represent The Beastie Boys and Nas SO WELL and this is why the rappers nowadays have NOTHING ON THEM!

  • NAS is the shit and always will be

  • kanye is bullshit

  • @scottieh206 nah, he's a great producer and worked with nas a couple of times. young money is waaay worse

  • prefer the album version, but this is still pretty mind blowing

  • Not a huge hip-hop fan but fuck. Damn man how do you. It's almost industrial.

  • All I saw was the Beastie Boys ft. Nas and I nearly shit myself.

  • This is the true motherfucking essence of hip hop! Much Love!

  • Sickkk, also, I want a shirt w/ this picture on it

  • nas in the house wit beastie boys

  • Fuckin LOVE Beastie Boys

  • TOO MANY RAPPER BUT THEY ARE NOT MC'S !!! BIG UP !!!

  • never heard of Nas

  • @pezthing I hope you're joking.

  • LOVE IT!

  • This isn't the song that was on the album. Where did you get this version?

  • @iShavedYesterday This version leaked on you tube before the song / album actually came out. In fact back before the album got delayed this was actually released as a single MONTHS and MONTHS ago near the original planned album release date of Hot Sauce Committee (PT 1) & was actually on the radio/charts etc. Then the album never came out & they changed a few parts when HSCP2 came out. Really wish Yauch had kept his original opening verse. It's much more relevant and 'in your face'.

  • @gdwhat Thanks, though I do like the version that appeared on the album a bit better than the original. The big beat / electronic feel to the latter is really what makes the song. I appreciate the info.

  • @iShavedYesterday Yeah, the instrumental upgrade I'm totally cool with. Just thought some of the lyrics in the original (particularly the opening verse) are a bit more 'in your face' on this one and get across the meaning of the song a bit better. Yauch kills the first verse here...the album version...still awesome, but I like when Yauch gets a bit angry at the state of hip hop. Both amazing. No doubt.

  • @iShavedYesterday This was the original single intended for Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 1, which got indefinitely delayed. For pt. 2 they remixed the song.

  • Rap is not dead

  • @enihcamehttsniagaega It's on life support. haha.

  • Beastie Boys and Nas STILL FUCKING GOT IT FOR SURE ! ! :D

  • Oh muy gawd, just look at me, grandpa been rappin' since 83'

    Love it c:

  • BB > Nas

  • i've never liked Nas, and i don't understand why he is so hyped up!?!

    But this was kool enough

  • @igloterror I prefer his older stuff. Illmatic and Lost Tapes are top notch.

  • @igloterror Listen to illmatic. It is one of the best hip-hop albums ever made.

  • @igloterror nas is so hyped up because he's one of the greatest who ever touched the mic. listen to illmatic, it was written, and the lost tapes if you don't like nas.. and if you dont like any of those albums you NEED to get your hiphop ears tweaked quite a bit

  • i would enjoy this more if thecomment section wasnt full of self ritcheous morons.

  • @JiMMyJaM08061991

    >ritcheous

  • thats savemart XD

  • This is the shit!

  • Damn mainstream crappers need to start paying homage from the godfathers and recognize true hip hop!

  • Why can't more rap be like this?

  • @OldschoolVgamer Because most 98% of rappers are all commercially orientated

  • @OldschoolVgamer why would u want more rap to be like this tht would make it unoriginal, rap is specific to the person making it. do u even like this, or are u just saying tht to look cool. it seems people these days dnt know what they like they just know what they think they are supposed to like.

  • @JiMMyJaM08061991 The miscommunication here comes in as to differing interpretation of context. I didn't mean that people should copy these guys in their style as even you just identified, rap is specific to the person that makes it. The fact is that a lot of this music sucks these days, especially much of the post-millennium stuff. Can you honestly say that something like Soulja Boy, Chamillionaire, Lil Wayne stands up against the classics of the 80's and 90's? The answer is obviously no.

  • @OldschoolVgamer lil waynes exactly like the classics of 80, its all nostalgia factot. wayne uses the same rhyme schemes as 80s, he raps in puchlines bout watever comes to hishead. if anythig mainstream hip hop is more like 80s than ever, except electric guitars are replaced with synths and theres a little more singing. lil wayne to young ppl these day is like run dmc to ppl ppl from the old school era. when they grow up they will be looking back on it and talking bout how good it was.

  • @OldschoolVgamer a lot of ppl today have this misconception tht every rapper in the 80s and 90s was socially concious and on some chuck d type shit. tht every album from the 90s was good, but fact is it wasnt. nas made some stinkers in the late 90s grabbing for the mainstream and wen it was written came out it was considerednothing more than an okay cross over album.

  • @JiMMyJaM08061991 It Was Written has aged well over time tho. Looking back on it, the lyricism was on par with Illmatic. I always loved It Was Written. Now I am and Nastradamus is another story...

  • @JiMMyJaM08061991 The fact is that many rappers now SUCK SUCK SUCK and often don't put enough effort forth to cultivating a strong, effective, and intelligent style that involves the minimization of lyrical repitition, relatively substanceless flash, shameless materialism, and the cliches of themes. A lot is is look at me in my designer clothes, how hard I am, making that paper, how many woman I get, and just grandiose self-importance which comes off as just clowning and flavor of the month.

  • @JiMMyJaM08061991 But to answer your question, yes, I do like both Nas and the Beastie Boys. I've been a long time fan of BB, especially since first seeing the video for intergalactic being plastered on music stations in the late 90's and I was applauding Nas when he came out all arms swinging with "Sly Fox" at Fox News and Bill O'Reilly for snapping at him for his billing on a Virginia Tech tribute show, citing some criminal weapons charges when he was younger. Nas is awesome!

  • @OldschoolVgamer cuz you cant party with these kinda songs, but I can tho

  • If you don't know NAS you don't know the Album considered as the Best Hip Hop album of All time. And I read they are listening to Hip Hop...

  • hahaa up in the grocery stooree AHAHHA

  • awesome song .. jammed like crazy

  • One word: Awesome!!!!

  • NAS! they need to come out with a video for this

  • always have loved BBs but only in the last year or so have heard a little of Nas. I've enjoyed what I've heard so far. hip-hop isn't really one of my favorite genres, but when there is a song I like, I love it! this is definitely one of them!

  • 34 people want more Rappers...

  • @alancottrill are you expecting someone to like this?

  • @lunalovin *likes your comment*

  • I love the beastie boys. But all this arguing about the best rapper...RAKIM!

  • Fucking DOPE track. I really like that Nas actually jumped on a track with the old boys, thats is so cool!

  • biggie is the king

  • fuck Gema ,Sabotage this Pigs

  • lol im just buying my produce, look left and see the beastie boys and nas goin hard in the aisle,i dont even know what crazy action i would do but itd be crazy

  • I can't believe someone is dumb enough to say "I love hip hop but I don't know who Nas is"...

That's like saying you are a Christian but you don't know who Jesus is.

  • @SundiataOfMali I tried but i couldn't put it better myself

  • @Whoizcasper Thanks, but I'm just sayin' the truth we have to educate this brats!

  • @SundiataOfMali

not really. nas is a great artist, but he's not central to the entire movement.

  • @seekingasylum well said. that and he's only done one truly great album.

  • @SundiataOfMali

    FAIL...

  • @SundiataOfMali

that's a bloody stupid thing to say. Who are you to judge other music lovers?

It just shows your immaturity, as it does those who liked your comment.

  • @MrSomewhere Normally I'd agree with this, but c'mon man Nas is universally recognized as one of the greatest emcees of all time. Even if you don't like him you have to acknowledge that. Real recognize real.

  • @Antrizzle2009 Well I don't know, cause i didnt know nas, and still don't, but I love SOME hiphop, not the genre but some artists. Whatever, I fucking love this shit, so if its nas or someone else it doesn't matter to me, it's good music. I just think the original comment is stupid

  • @MrSomewhere Well if I may ask, how many hip hop artist do you actually know then? Not trying to be a smartass, but Nas is one of the better known ones, even for a casual fan.

  • @SundiataOfMali True. You know these days it's cool to only like Eminem. I'm not saying he's not nice, but rap fans just get...dumber, every year.

  • lmao - how could you possibly have a valid opinion on hip hop if the only rappers you know are beastie boys and you've never even heard of nas till now....

although i do give you props for finding nas and beastie boys rather then shit wayne and fagakon

  • Beasties rock out w/ Nas cuz he's flesh, Brooooklyn flesh, capece? All you scared types that never heard about Nas ain't never smelled a toilet, see? What...

  • HEY YOU UPLOADED THIS ON MY B-DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • check my channel peeps cuz i kinda sound like the beastie boys

  • @KandTube98 You don't know Nas? then you don't know shit.

  • @agrewal009 Thats your opinion. My opinion is that the beastie boys are the ONLY good rappers. I'm a rock fan and I've never heard of nas till now

  • @KandTube98 You've never heard of nas till now? You don't know ANYTHING about hip hop then.

  • @KandTube98 You are an idiot.Nas is the best rapper alive.

  • @KandTube98 I couldn't of a insult harsh enough to match up to your comment, yes your comment was that idiotic

  • @KandTube98 No see. You made it clear you're a rock fan and think Beastie Boys are the ONLY good ones. Your "opinion" is not an opinion. It's just you being an ignorant shit.

    But hey.

I don't expect much from someone who has faux-rock bands like Papa Roach in their favourites. Casual music listeners are the worst kind of people.

  • this fucking rocks x

  • Nas is the greatest of all time argue i dare you

  • @Agrewal009 Who's the 'best' rapper is very relative and depends on what you believe are the qualities that an MC should have.. I personally think Del Tha Funky Homosapien & Blu are equal to Nas, but that's just me. You wanted an argument, I got it!

  • @Agrewal009 Eazy-E.

King of rap, everyone knows that.

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow not even close

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow King of Gangsta rap anyways

  • @crimsonheroX7 Ice Cube wrote half his shit so that would probably make him the King of Gangsta rap

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow Come on, BB are the godfathers of rap and none of them are dead lol. Hip hip would definitely not be the same without these fine men.

  • best song on the album

  • thumbs up if sportscenter brought you here!!!! It brought me here.

  • great song, but the beginning is cut and thats like one of my favourite parts of the song

  • all i can think about is wil ferrel and elijah, all them pissing on eachother lol

  • "Most people don't know who Nas is"...... That's cute.

  • wheres the one with the ruthless beat? less drummin more of that background shit.

  • @crazyhiho Possibly talking about the New Reactionaries version

  • @Kamma8 i wouldnt know theres so many remixes i cant even find the version my brother bought on itunes.. weird lol

  • @crazyhiho "Too Many Rappers [new reactionaries version] (featuring NAS)" is my favourite version, worth checking out, might be the one.

  • @Kamma8 yes it is the one! thank you!

on the itunes version it makes it sound like a bad ass beastie boys beat.

  • @crazyhiho NP, glad to help. Best version!

  • hell this track is dope

  • Finally real hip hop. I hate all this crap rappers (Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Soulja Boy, Wiz Khalifa) Fuck em. If you guys have something in you're mind let it out.

  • Nas is one of the best lyricist alive if you don't know who nas is you shouldn't ever listen to hip hop. Ever. Period.

  • If I was in that market I'd be like BYAHHH!!!

  • holy shit MCA outshines Nas, did not see that coming

  • No I'm actually watching it from the cockpit of my pimped out TIE Fighter,

    Magnum P.I. wannabe!

  • buy this album. it's so sick.

  • i'm in the backround buying lettuce

  • Featuring Nas, is like St Peter featuring God.

  • @Bumbumawangis Well considering most people don't know who the fuck nas is i would say that is bollocks. I've never heard of him and the Beastie Boys are actually famous compared to him

  • @ReyFlame82 if youve never heard of nas you are a fucking moron and have no business ever coming within 100 yards of anything remotely connected with hip hop ever again

  • @ReyFlame82 Well, Nas has sold 4 to 5 million albums over the course of his career. Both are famous, however. Still, you should at the very least look into Nas. He's incredible.

  • Buy the album version! It is SOOOOOOOO much better than this quality qurap!

  • Awwwwwwww YEAH! Aww YEAH!

    Strawberry Letter 23! AWWW YEAH!

  • @TIEGUY17...........shut the fuck up you flipping nerd. If the internet wanted your opinion, we'd ask for it.

  • @TIEGUY17.........oh yeah, nice name, fuck tard.

  • @TIEGUY17.........what the hell? Are you watching Beastie Boy vids from your cubicle or something? Go straighten out your tie and get the fuck back to work, you white yuppie.

  • the youtube quality is shit get the actual track on mp3, sounds SICK!, gritty and grimey

  • oh my god

  • anyone know how they recorded those drums?

  • New York is and has always been the epicenter of hip hop. You're flat retarded. That's exactly why hip hop sucks today. the south and midwest garbage. i can't even call it hip hop anymore bc it's not. I can listen to any 90's rap, even the weaker sh*t and it still blows the doors off ANYTHING out now.

  • @de8931 Yea bro!!! Let them know!!!

  • @de8931 some people just like different stuff like slowed down shit with no content not our fault they never were introduced to the underground or true hip- hop

  • this version is better than the one on the album...

  • Did they do a video for this track? I wonder where that photoshoot was.

  • What was up with changing the first verse on the actual album? I like this verse better.

  • Sooooooo tight!

  • Best Hip Hop groups ever:
