Now I cannot see how we as society can go without capital punishment. Who are we to tell a grieving mother or father that justice will be denied to their murdered child? Providing three square meals a day plus accommodation and medical care for the life is no longer justice in my eyes

I'm for the death penalty, but anyone who argues that it would be a huge tax to the people to keep them alive is full of shit. There are not that many people on death row, and the small amount that would be kept for life (They're already kept in jail a very long time before being put to death) that it would make hardly any impact.

@B4RBI3gyrl Look the reason I am not opposed to the death penalty in PROVEN murderers is that I have seen too many cases where despite having life terms they have been let off on parole earlier only to recommit their crimes. I don't have any issue with seeking vengence against them (as they will get their fair share of punishment by God) but I do have an issue with doing our best to protect more innocent victims from becoming their prey. And if that means the death penalty then so be it.

@justkilledit21 I spent the majority of my life being against capital punishment and I could not imagine a situation where it should be imposed, And then in 2010 I became a father. Now I cannot see how we as society can go without capital punishment. Who are we to tell a grieving mother or father that justice will be denied to their murdered child? Providing three square meals a day plus accommodation and medical care for the life is no longer justice in my eyes

I'm for the death penalty, but anyone who argues that it would be a huge tax to the people to keep them alive is full of shit. There are not that many people on death row, and the small amount that would be kept for life (They're already kept in jail a very long time before being put to death) that it would make hardly any impact.

@B4RBI3gyrl Look the reason I am not opposed to the death penalty in PROVEN murderers is that I have seen too many cases where despite having life terms they have been let off on parole earlier only to recommit their crimes. I don't have any issue with seeking vengence against them (as they will get their fair share of punishment by God) but I do have an issue with doing our best to protect more innocent victims from becoming their prey. And if that means the death penalty then so be it.

@B4RBI3gyrl i m not aware of any executions where there later was a finding that the accused was innocent. first off they would have been on death row because of haveing an extended criminal history, the murderer starts in their child hood commitining henious crimes and graduates to larger more henious crimes, executions are only for non circumstantial convictions, circumstantial, smoking gun convictions are commuted to 2nd degee and life. @DracoAzule the corruption in the legal system is the bar association death grip on it, but if we correct that, then we can get to the point of the executions at a much earlier date maybe 2 years rathar than the current 15 years average, that would expedite justice, most that claim that the problem exists in the judicial system do nothing to effect the proper change, and change to the worse isn t an improvementm with modern day dna testing, innocents are not executed
