there is no mystery at all to Jacob MIller's death - he crashed his car into a traffic pole at the intersection of Hope Rd. and Waterloo, right by Devon House. he had left the Third World band's studio with three children to go get sugar cane, and on the way back he lost control of the car and hit the pole. supposedly he was chewing on a piece of sugar cane and it was a contributing factor to his death (he choked on it). there's your story.

he and Inner Circle were more popular at the time than Bob Marley in Jamaica for sure..... probably because they did a ton of live shows all over JA. Inner Circle had been a studio and live band since the very early 70's. at one point, Inner Circle had to play the hotel/club circuit to make money until Jacob Miller joined in 1975.
