Let me tell you japanese companies have been competing in races for decades... maybe not in europe as much as everywhere else.. but that dosent make them bad competition.

not completely true, Jari-Matti Latvala in the focus just took the swedish rally. Granted, the evo 5 took the wrc its first year and the wrx has done phenominal since its debut, but you can't argue the focus is just as good
