Go back and look at the crime scene. No blood was found. No DNA evidence from Jason, Damien, or Jessie, but there was DNA evidence from Terry Hobbs found on one of the boys. On top of that, Hobbs is the only person in the entire case that has no alibi. interrogators questioned Jessie for 12+ hours, but only recorded 45 minutes of it (the end/"confession") after they coerced him.
Misskelley confessed six different times, not just once. Two of those times were to his own defense attorney. Did his own defense attorney coerce him too?

Fibers found on the victims’ clothes matched clothes from Echols’ and Baldwin’s homes. Police took a necklace from Echols. A lab later found blood from two distinct DNA sources on the necklace. One source was consistent with Echols. The second source was consistent with Branch and Baldwin.

This did not just start with celebrities, the verdicts had large questions marks from the time they were announced. That is globally. To prove murder it has to be beyond a reasonable doubt. Think about that and you will get the answer to the guilt or innocence of the WM3.
What a shame. These child killers are free now while there are, no doubt, many truly innocent people still in prison who have never confessed to such a horrific crimes like the WM3 have. Jessie was later taken into WMPD for questioning despite the fact that they did not have a written waiver of his Miranda Rights signed by Jessie’s father, a legal requirement when police interview minors.
There you go. I dont know the exact amount. But Jessie was poor. Any amount of money mattered.

@pwreric Some of the witnesses came forward after many years because they had no idea Hobbs had lied until they saw him doing it on TV. I don't put faith in some of the stories coming out, but I believe the neighbors saw him with the victims that day, despite his claims. He's a far more likely suspect than Echols. Terry Hobbs' hair was found in a shoelace used to tie up someone else's kid. Just because that fact isn't strong enough for prosecution doesn't make it insignificant.
@biffodio and the really said thing is that that hair evidence against Hobbs is more evidence then they ever had against the WM3 and they were serving life and on death row. The justice system has no justice...they need to be exonerated.

Do some research. This other suspect wandered into a restaurant covered in blood the night the three victims were murdered, and the police never fully looked into it. The West Memphis Three should not have been released. The primary evidence (genetic material/DNA) used to dispute their convictions has not been proven to even relate to the crime. Other evidence (failed polygraph exams, confessions, etc) remains. Those viewing case today do so out-of-context. These guys ARE monsters. Damien mocked the victims's families (smirking, blowing kisses, etc) during the trial. Everyone (liberal singers, actors, news media, supporters, etc) is ignoring the victims.

Just shows that in a highly Christian society, if you're not one of them, the jury will happily put you on death row just because of your appearance. They seem to forget that Christians have a far far higher rate of criminality than atheists.
If you look at Western socities and incarceration rates, Christians are far far more likely to commit crimes and there is a far higher percentage Christian population in jail than out. Research has also shown that Christians are far less educated and have much higher rates of teenage pregnancy.

@gunfan50bmg over here in Ireland this story was never covered. Words can't begin to describe how happy i am to finally hear that 3 innocent men are now FREE. There should be one hell of an enquiry into this miscarriage of justice case. in Ireland we have 'The Historical Enquiry Team' which looks into cases and i mean digs to find that the so called guilty is actually innocent after spending years in jail. @pwreric Id like to point out that there IS evidence that Terry Hobbs, Stevie Branch's stepfather, was at the crime scene. He and his friend had no alibi for the time of the murders. Terry Hobbs even had Stevie's pocket knife that his mother said he always carried with him. How else would he have gotten it if he didnt take it from Stevie? There is very strong evidence against Terry Hobbs yet you say that the WM3 are the killers? There is absolutely NO evidence against any of them.

Jessie was later taken into WMPD for questioning despite the fact that they did not have a written waiver of his Miranda Rights signed by Jessie’s father, a legal requirement when police interview minors.
There you go. I dont know the exact amount. But Jessie was poor. Any amount of money mattered.

I don't put faith in some of the stories coming out, but I believe the neighbors saw him with the victims that day, despite his claims. He's a far more likely suspect than Echols. Terry Hobbs' hair was found in a shoelace used to tie up someone else's kid. Just because that fact isn't strong enough for prosecution doesn't make it insignificant.

Do some research. This other suspect wandered into a restaurant covered in blood the night the three victims were murdered, and the police never fully looked into it. The West Memphis Three should not have been released. The primary evidence (genetic material/DNA) used to dispute their convictions has not been proven to even relate to the crime. Other evidence (failed polygraph exams, confessions, etc) remains. Those viewing case today do so out-of-context. These guys ARE monsters. Maybe you should actually watch the video, read the captions, do a little research on Michale Graves and think about the message, instead of just reading the title.. That's exactly how the WM3 got into this whole mess, people assumed things...

I read the description, watched the video and recently watched all of paradise lost...I seriously feel the byers creep Dad did it but that's besides the point, this case is a huge injustice to America, a case like that should have been federally held, not ran by a bunch of hill billys. Not going to lie I thought the same as Jasmyn, misleading title

@gunfan50bmg over here in Ireland this story was never covered. Words can't begin to describe how happy i am to finally hear that 3 innocent men are now FREE. There should be one hell of an enquiry into this miscarriage of justice case. in Ireland we have 'The Historical Enquiry Team' which looks into cases and i mean digs to find that the so called guilty is actually innocent after spending years in jail. I sincerely hope that the real culprit is shitting himself now.

Hopefully they find the sack of shit that did this. I live around an hour and a half, maybe two hours away from where that happened( Tennessee ). It's simple, the Police needed someone to blame it on, and they picked Echols, Misskelly, and Baldwin, because they were nonconformists, and stuck out from the crowd of Christians and backwoods rednecks that were all exactly the same. What a shame our Country has come to, when three boys can be robbed of half of their lives for nothing.
