Mr. Strathern said nothing about how Nietzsche showed how Slave Morality created God. To me, this the most important idea of N and when people around the world really became Atheists.
Only an utterly unprovable hereafter could make a fool of Nietzsche, based on evident reality he is simply deeper, more scientific, more psychologically astute, more historically informed than any religious teaching has ever been.
if your writings are remembered and studied in 200 years time, then and only then will you be in any kind of position to judge him or his work. philosophical geniuses can obviously be wrong, but for me, its the questions they ask and the intillect they use to awnser them that defines them as truly special people
ha,ha,ha,funny a guy who fought God in every way possible..and his last days he end up gay, crazy {demon possess of course] with the worse illness of his time....andguess what his CHRISTIAN family end up taking care of his sorry ass,,,,God is funnyyyyyyyyyyyyy...keep admiring this degenerate and you too will end up just like him
@mendezfocus He really does tear Christianity to pieces, as a religion it was there to be shot at intellectually and he succeeded brilliantly. He wins the argument, there is no doubt about it, although in the end his 'love of fate' bears a remarkable similiarity to Christ's doctrine of unconditional forgiveness, only he takes it further to include ourselves, abolishing sin.The only thing a Christian can fall back on after Nietzsche is blind faith, his critique is devastating.
@mendezfocus Nietzsche's breakdown had little to nothing to do with his philosophy, but with illnessess that plagued him for most of his life. That he had syphilis is no longer accepted. (It was a brain tumor more than likely). His sister was also an anti-semite so what should we make of that? It's this kind of shallow and degenerate behavior, spawned by Christianity, that Nietzsche was fighting against.
