People complain too much, ls1 is not a small or big blocks, they are called mid blocks, and they arent truely 350 cu inches, and nos is just a poor man's power adder, nos is just as effective as t/c and s/c. I love and owned a ls1 and this guy lost fair and square, get over it
@WesLs1 I like that you're straight up about the ls losing, and this is coming from an ex-Ford owner myself, and I've still got serious love for their motors, but the lsx series of motors is INCREDIBLE. But nitrous being a poor man's power adder? Come on now, if done right a good nitrous kit will run maybe a grand less than a forced induction setup (on average obviously), and you've got to consider bottle refills, too. It isn't a poor man's upgrade. It's a power adder, fair and sqaure :)

Guys at LS1techdotcom measured the LS1 and SBC and said they are within 3/16 of an inch in length to each other... Even GM, the designers of these motors call them small blocks.

i thought it would be closer. i am partial to the camaro, but i am guessing it is just the simple install of the sts kit with the tuning because the one with tuning does really well.
the hell does that mean? if u heard it shut 5 times.. maybe he took his foot off the gas? and why would STS be for the loss when the drivers a tool. WHAT THE HELL R U TALKING ABOUT
i definately agree with u man, he had to do somethin wrong with the install. either that, or the boost was limited to like 2-3psi. Either way, the camaro should have won hands down...plus he cant drive either...the only way he should shift that much is if he was runnin high boost which would push it to redline much faster...this guy doesnt know what he's doing...
Ford guy here. That Camaro should have pulled a freight train on a 100 shot Fox.

Basically what I am saying is that he would have probably won if he had a traditional front mount turbo kit.

My 302 was built and went 13.0 off the NOS but I do still think that camaro should've won. But it didn't and that why I'm a Ford guy...;)
