why did you bought a mixer with a ipod dock because the numarks cd players have a usb entrance.

@shotgunkiller745 go on djkit website and search (with numark as the brand) cdj in a box should come up with the 200, 400, and 800 packages you also get headphpones with them

how does the iPod Dock work? can you like have on playing say being controlled on the left on the left side then have one ready to play on the right hand side and mix them in? is that at all possible? how does the Dock work? please help coz I dunno whether to save up and buy them or not? :/

@loco9201 definitely get a pair of ndx800s, there more expensive but really worth the money also that wud go gud wit a numark M3 mixer..dats my set up and its sick! :D

If you have the iM1 mixer and some vinyls for example..Can you then just load the tracks over to your vinyls from the ipod without needing serrato-box or something like that ?

@squizzDK No, the ipod can only play tracks from the ipod, you cannot control the playback speed or anything. basically it can just operate as an ipod dock and you can record your mixes to it.

@loco9201 dude, i dont know how big your budget is but i would strongly recomend, pioneer cdj400 and djm400.. if its way to expensive buy the american audio radius2000 and a berhringer djx750 (: its way way better than numark, easy'er to mix on and NOT for scrathing. and both sets have midi mode/can connect to a computer! so go for the american audio m8. good luck finding your set!

i got one ndx 400 , the sound quality is good,  the read funtion of cd is not so fast = 10 sec to read one normal cd (aprox) , one cd of mp3 read in more time, the usb is more fast to load the songs, i recomend to use the usb (memories, hard drives), the loops work fine and precise. the hot cue, you can change the sensitive of the jog wheel , etc, recomendable players
