    Hibachi have actual fire in contact with the food. This poor guy is cooking on a teppan. It's a bit like a big skillet with no sides. Teppanyaki is the act of cooking on one or the food that is cooked on one. Many people make Teppanyaki on a hotplate. I just use an Iron skillet.
