  • Answered my question PERFECTLY! :-) Thank you for putting this up :-)

  • Finally, someone with academic credibility to shed light on this. I can't afford to buy lots of gym equipment right now, and only have 3 and 5 lb dumbbells at home. However, I have been following circuit training DVDs that have the people in them also use these size of weights, and boy do I feel the burn! Sometimes I have to go back to using the 3 lb dumbbells because the circuits are just so intense. Hopefully, I'll be able to look cut and sculpted in no time.

  • I think they should all work out in the kitchen and taking care of the kids, i ensure you there would be no chubby ass around

  • Do burn sets for your 1st set (where you start out doing as much weight as you can, 6-8 reps then drop the weight 15-20lbs and do 6-8 reps and then drop another 15-20lbs and do 15 final reps). Then you would do 2 more sets of 6-8 reps with as much weight as you can.

  • Gorgeous

  • just shut the fuck up and lets shag

  • haha heavy weight and low reps as the guy grabs a whole 20 maybe 25 pounds for rows

  • Heellllooooooo

  • i had to watch this on 720p

  • OMG!! Shes FUCKING GORGEOUS !!

  • @uzidoesit. MUSCLE DOES NOT WEIGH MORE THAN FAT! 1kg of muscle and 1kg of fat are the same weight, they're both 1kg. Muscle is more dense and takes up less space by volume, but 1kg of fat is the same as 1kg of muscle.

  • @SIHTTLAEKR haha you shoulda told the person to practice their math

  • If you're a man and you want muscle and lots of it, you should do strength training using compound movements! The stronger you get, the heavier you can lift. The heavier you can lift, the more muscle you will grow.

  • 0:32 gym fail

  • @FCbullet how is that a gym fail? cuz it's light weight haha

  • Hey man i need your help guys ,,,, if i do high weight with low rep will my speed get slower i mean my punch i want my arm get abit bigger i dont want my speed get slower Thank

  • I"m 55 (male) and started doing dumbbell exercises in my apt. af ew weeks ago. For now, it's light weight and high reps.

I've heard both of these "arguments". Is there any reason why you can't alternate the workouts (ie heavy weights and low reps on one day and then light weights and high reps on another workout) in the same week?

(I'm referring to upper body workouts)

  • @02chevyguy Yes you certainly can! Eventually you have to or you will no longer see results. It is important to note that the lighter/higher reps do tear at different muslce fibers than when lifting heavy. You want to be strong throughout the entire mucle. I recommend starting your workouts high rep for the first couple sets then increaing the weight untill failure at 6 reps. Then go backwards from heavy to light again. That will Maximize growth. Be sure to rest for 3 days for each body part.

  • Hey, i'm just turned 15. And i wonder.. should i have heavy weight to build big muscles or small weights? Please answer.

  • @TheManWithTheBall heavy weight , low reps 8-12

  • id slam that

  • Just looking at her increases my muscle size.

  • thanks for the info for women!!! finaly someone talks about women:)

  • She kinda reminds me of that fitness chick from the 80's & 90's ... I think it's Kathy Smith

  • I do lighter weights with high reps sets first then move gradually to heavier with low reps towards the end of the exercise. I'm not sure if this is the right way, even though I am seeing good results.

  • i was doing high weight and low reps and al i was doing was bulking up and i DID not want that. i did this for 3 months didnt lose any weight infact i was getting heavier. after i realised it wasnt working i changed to low weight and high reps and i lost 2 stone in a month without dieting at all. however i wil say those other 3 months must have helped in is.

  • No matter how hard I try, my muscles don't bulk for crap. :P

  • @Airlocke77 try finding the heaviest weight you can do with every exercise , a weight you can only do 5 times and try doing 6 sets of them you will bulk in no time if you can do 7 or more its not heavy enough hope that helps

  • the problem is pullover cannot be done in heavy weight

  • @vincent7125 Then you should try to do a heavy weight that you can do and keep the tension, by this i mean don't get to far to the starting position but rather keep the weight above your head.

This way you won't lose tension and you muscle's become sore much faster..

if its a heavy weight that you can do try doing 10 times 6 sets

  • i mean pullover with too heavy weight you even can do 1 rep. However this video is rubbish. Heavy or ligh weight as long you reach your reps limit you will gain muscle mass after your good rest and good diet. You can bend press with 30lbs for 100 reps to reach your limit, will be the same as you will press for 200lbs for only 4 reps. Stress your muscle is the key to grow muscle mass. Reach your limit mean do untill you can do and force yourseft for the last reps.

  • @vincent7125 Yeah my saying is "Train Till It Hurts" then you really know your muscles did a good job.

  • i wish i can lick this girl

  • @Airlocke77 You need to eat more than what you are eating at the moment. Try eating every 3 1/2 hours

  • @Airlocke77 EAT

  • 0:22 don't worry baby, I promise

  • this baby is not only gorgeous, she also knows what she is talking about.

  • @Gideon359 shes not 3 yrs old mate i think the word ur lookin for is babe?

  • only got 1 thing to say , High Reps , Heavy Weight ! Go hard or Go home baby!!

Just go as hard as you can and go train till the last energy you've got! my way of doing it!

  • @kwezeltjuh1 ok

ex: you can do 20 reps using 60 lbs DB (biceps curls)

how would you still do 20 reps with 80 lbs Db ? wtf

  • @BashEl7as lol if i say high reps i dont mean the same reps everytime , like when i do 20 reps next set i do like 18 reps then 16 you know ;) but when i keep the reps the same , lets say 15 reps yes i can increase weight ;) maybe last 2-3 reps need some help but that builds muscle ;) soo idk if you train buddy but if you do , u will notice these kinda things :) Peace out ..

  • hi, jessica , I really like and appreciate the , fitness knowledge you and A.C.E . gladly offer to the world , keep it up and all the best ..
