There's a 1/3 chance for each player to get Protoss, but the chances of the first player getting protoss AND the second player getting Protoss is 1/3 * 1/3 = 1/9.

If we want to broaden then respecify the topic into something entirely different, then the chances of picking rock is 33%. Also, your calculations are wrong.
