The band is very solid. Drummer is tight but drum pattern does not appear correct if going by original recording. He's playing almost a a straight 4 beat, original is more syncopated. Possible though he may be choosing to play his own version which all musicians do at times.
Trombone should not follow trumpet/sax in the intro modulation up. The first lick is unison all three hornes, second lick should be two part harmony. Trombone stay low and repeats same notes twice. Sax and trumpet modulate. The harmony needs to be there to sound correct and more powerful . Just an opinion, It will make the horn line better/ fatter.
Musically one of the best covers I have ever heard. The vocals are good but he seems to lag on timing. I hope he's improved over the last couple years. I would buy a CD of you guys if you had one. Good job.
