  • I love it!

  • Prius

    The People's Hybrid

  • is this the one in the other guys???

  • I guess putting rainbow stickers on your bumper wasnt enough of a statement. time to drive a prius

  • @TheBassKing2000 you need to stay in your lane.

  • @TheBassKing2000 See, thats the thing. WE DONT NEED A 2011. My car will last much longer than a faggy Prius even though I put my Jeep through much more than someone with a Prius does---someone who drives to Starbuck's to talk about how cool Macs and their mini little car is.

  • Prius - dumb. You cant go down 65 miles of beach on Padre Island in a fuel efficient Prius. Cant drive through a pond. Cant help someone who is stuck. I drive a Jeep Rubicon with a lift kit , 35" tires, and 11 mpg. If you are in a Prius dont ask for my help getting out of your driveway if your dog pisses behind your tires.

  • Fuck the environment I drive a truck and it only gets 12 mpg on a good day, fuck yea!!! And I still look like a man doing it, high gas bills are something to be proud of, it says "Im a man and am not afraid of paying extra on gas"

  • @shark1669661 The Prius is just as responsible for the destruction of the environment as my Jeep. Thing is....my jeep will last 30 years. The Prius will break down if a little kid bumps it with his bike.

  • @bwheel012 you got that right, have you ever seen a prius in an accident, you may as well be driving plastic and aluminum foil, them damn things crumble up like paper

  • @shark1669661 you got that wrong, have you ever heard how it got a 5 start crash test safety rating

because someone drives a Prius doesn't make them a pussy however it makes you a pussy when you can sit behind you computer screen and talk shit (:

  • @bwheel012 so true

  • @shark1669661 Only a redneck would be proud of intentionally wasting limited resources and shelling out money to the middle east.

  • @wokeupthismorning100 environmental pussy, let me guess, you drive one of these vaginas on wheels?

  • @shark1669661 Actually I drive a Toyota Tacoma, but why do you think Ford, Chevy, Toyota, Honda, Nissan and almost every single automaker out there making advances toward a greener lifestyle? Get real.

  • i was gonna get a prius but...i heard that hobos have orgies, racoons have babys inside of it and people take nifty little dumps in the drivers seat. And sometimes inside you will find a deer vagina thinking its human lips but you get a closer look and yes, definitely a deer vagina......so i think i'll pass on a prius

  • just the name prius screams fagmobile

  • go buy a diesel the get 60 mpg and they don't look retarded, plus if u get hit by a truck in one of thos things your going to DIE !

  • why would you want a quieter engine? lmfao.

  • @EpicXXProductions I know right, I hate when your in the parking lot if you stop to talk to someone they just start moving you know, you dont hear nothing, they just go and it scares the shit outta me, im always afraid theres a prius right behind me, even in my own house, i hate them, they should make a movie where the priuses are like serial killers and they sneak up on people and kill them that would be awesome

  • @EpicXXProductions Because not all of us want to drive up to other people's cars in Mustang GTs and rev at them, buddy. Yeah, it's amazing, I know, but not everyone wants attention by driving through small neighborhoods with loud engines.

  • attention close-minded idiots, not only is the pruis worthless and ugly it will cause more environmental damage than a hummer h2. even if its made in a green factory it still takes 113,000,000 BTUs to make 1 prius. the nickel batteries is the main reason why this car is so environmentally dangerous, has anyone seen a nickel mine, there not exactly very clean places. plus the batteries only have a 100,000 mile life span and are costly to replace. buy a diesel they get far better mpg than a prius

  • electric cars are actually less ECO-friendly. where do we get our electricity? by burning coal. what are car batteries made out of? Lead/Lithium and acid. lithium must be refined via blast furnace which eats up entire trees at a time. then a shit ton of Co2 comes out of the ore when burned/melted. and then car batteries bust be replaced/disposed of every few years. a British study was done and the freakin Land Rover was proven to be more ECO-friendly than a Prius. LOL

  • stupid car

  • @GarrettKeetley I hear that the earth is flat too so It must be true right? Why don't you do some research before posting BULLSHIT? The battery doesn't cost anywhere near $7,000.00. The battery costs around $1,500.00 and they have an 8 to 10 year warranty on the battery.

  • I own a 2010 Prius IV exactly like the one shown--even same color--and I'm getting 55 mpg. Last weekend I drove from Washington DC to York, PA (105 mi) and got 55.5 mpg going north and 61.5 mpg coming south for a combined 58.5 over 210 miles. I seem to get slightly better milage in standard mode rather than economy mode. Not bad. Lowest cost per mile of any gasoline-engined car.

  • The most pointless, ugliest and 1 of the slowest cars in automotive history. I would rather crawl to work than drive this horrible hateful box. If you buy one of these wave goodbye to good looks, style and fun. SET FIRE TO ALL TOYOTA PRIUS'S!!!

  • @Englandforever91 i really dont mind cause i save over 1,000 bucks a month. how about you? :)

  • @tyragurl They do less mpg than alot of eco desiels.

  • I would much rather have the batmobile than a goddamn prius.

  • @CircusFreakGRITZ

Yea I know 4 prius owners 3 are in generation I and they are still going strong. One of those has over 300k miles on it.

Just bought my 2011 Prius III a two weeks ago. Got 740miles out of 10 gallons of fuel. I do miss my 340HP 389TQ Mazdaspeed3 sometimes though.

  • shit car

  • Curse Prius

  • BUY A REAL CAR, GET A JETTA TDI, 50MPG, BATTERIES NOT REQUIRED

  • @renefern its only 30/40, was going to buy that but now i want a prius or a 2012 civic hybrid or an insight.

  • plus diesel is almost 5 bucks where i live.

  • @tyragurl Well $5 per gallon is not good. here is at $3.70

  • I don't understand why Americans buy this SHIT if they have VW JETTA TDI. Best Safety scores, strong, reliable engine, good comfort and fun to drive. I feel sorry when see someone drives a toyota priuse

  • @BenMarar driven them both, prefer the prius cause it teaches you how to be a better driver and not waste gas like most people do. Im going to buy one, im very gas conscious already but at the same time itll teach me to drive more efficiently. I see it only as a temporary car that teaches, i plan to keep mine 2-3 years then get my bmw 700 series.

  • That Prius isn't normal. It's missing it's Obama sticker on the back.

  • My Suburban shit one of those things out last night....

  • this thing is fagging up the ozone

  • fuck toyota

  • the Ferrari HY-KERS takes the energy from when it brakes and reuses it to power the AC, radio, etc. Can the Prius do that?

  • and thats the best u can come up with. Cars are not intended to fuck with, they just get u from point a to point b. And you can be the faggot whan gas prices get high

  • @etoyotarockshsucks Some people actually care about HOW they get from point A to point B, how they look while driving, and how they look when they arrive. Also, paying more money for gas doesn't mean you're a faggot...just that you're not a big of a niggard as the person who pays less..and that you actually have that money to spend in the first place.

  • @Cosmo1093 well then get a ct200h.

  • @etoyotarockshsucks What person under 30 would drive a 5-door hatchback? Aside from the performance hatchbacks like the Evo or STI, of course.. I didn't even know it was even possible for new cars to get from 0-60 in over 10 seconds anymore, but the CT200h managed to do it! And the braking is just about as bad as full sized minivans like the Sienna or Odyssey..all while the CT200h weighs over 1000 pounds less than either minivan.

  • @Cosmo1093 its not intended to be a straight line performance car, its goal is to look good and handle well. It sure looks better than any hybrid out there, besides the rx hybrid, plus it gets 43 mpg and has loads of luxury and high tech fetures. and how can you back up that the brakes are weak?

  • @etoyotarockshsucks For what it is, a 5-door compact hybrid, it handles well in sport mode..in eco-mode though, the handling is pretty bad. For a luxury car, it has cheap-looking/dated controls too (Edmunds).

The CT200h (3,130 lbs) brakes from 60-0 in 120 ft. The Sienna (4,545 lbs) can do it in 127 ft. The Odyssey (4,640 lbs) does it in 130 ft. Short braking distance is essential, even in a car designed to handle well. The two minivans also shave 2-3 seconds off the 0-60 of the CT200h as well.

  • @Cosmo1093 im 19 and im buying a prius, i really want the bmw gran tarismo, my 2010 cobalt gets to 40 in 18 seconds lul and thats cause im trying to save on gas cause its shitty on gas. like i say, the prius is merely a teaching car. im very gas conscious, i barely accelerate over 2.5 rpm, i stop gently and accelerate gently. im getting the prius to teach me how to drive more efficiently.

  • @tyragurl I do genuinely hate drivers like you at stoplights lol since I get to 40mph in 2.8 seconds for fun sometimes.. (paying more for gas to have fun is a fair trade IMHO). But how will a car teach you to drive more efficiently? A lot of cars nowadays have a gauge that tells you your fuel economy in real time...even sports cars like my '11 Mustang tell me my real-time MPG (on a scale of 1-5) on the dash..

And I'd much prefer the BMW M3 or M5 depending on what I need lol.

  • @Cosmo1093 theres so many things that the prius does like telling you when your accelerating to fast and pushing the gas too hard or braking too hard. Theres this cute little program that tells you when your too close t one side of the road and etc. But i drive like to save gas and if you want to give me 45 bucks every 4 days to drive just like you then i will gladly do it. No you say? then get over gas conscious drivers. But, lets take a look at something, im buying a prius in a few days when

  • @tyragurl Accelerating too fast = pushing the gas too hard..which again, many cars do now.. Isn't that what your eyes are for? To tell you your position in relation to the road?

Car payments for a brand new base '12 Mustang are less than a brand new base '11 Prius. For 36 months, the Mustang will be $578/mo because Ford offers 0% APR. The Prius is $716/mo, even with the highest credit score bracket of 720+, which is 3.9% APR.

  • @tyragurl Fueleconomy (.) gov says the '11 Mustang will cost $2329 per year to fill up at 15k miles/year, while the Prius will cost $1071. That's like a 1 way flight to Honolulu with no hotel room..or flight back. And you say 2-500, so at the very least, you'd only be saving $50 for insurance. I'd also be saving $1,656/year on car payments. (again, with the numbers I gave you).

I have tried driving efficiently in a Corolla. Believe me, I was utterly bored to death.

  • @Cosmo1093 it arrives, i aid 30k for it and im putting 17k down on it. my car payments are under 200 bucks a month. Im guessing your 11 mustang is prolly around 25-40k so your car not will be around 3-600 bucks. i still save monthly how much i pay for my car. now lets talk insurance your sporty car will cost you more so prolly around 2-500 bucks while my insurance went from 300 to 150. im still saving more, now lets talk gas. you prolly fill up every 4-8 days around 30-50 bucks depending

  • @tyragurl Yes but he is enjoying life and not looking like a fucking fag driving a loser Prius!

  • @Cosmo1093 on how much you drive, while i only have to fill up around 2 times a month, if that. so im still saving WAY more than you, thats why people buy prius, with that money i save i can have way more fun that your 1 minute of accelerating over 3 rpm that wastes your gas. i can go on many vacations, which i do monthly and im able to save money for bigger vacations and i can do it before you. My point is i like fast cars, believe me i do but until you try something dont knock it. dang

  • ugly car

  • I LOVE my 2011 Prius and feel good about going green.

  • @dkw12002 you have one? please tell me what you think of it..how many gallons of gas will it hold ? how far can you go without refueling ? thinking of getting one . ...

  • @moecat1000 I have a 2011 Prius 3 with just over 1100 miles on it. I basically use it to drive my daughter to school and back 10 each way about half of which is interstate driving, although I drive 65 instead of 70 mph and keep the mode on eco. I have averaged 49.3 mpg according to the readout. I use the lowest grade gas..87 octane gasohol. I think it holds 11.9 gallons which would be about 550 miles between fill-ups. There is a readout which tells you how many miles you can drive on your fuel.

  • @dkw12002 thank you very much

  • haters can hate ,Prius rocks!

  • U. S. Hybrid car sales figures are in for December, 2010. Fusion:1,438, Insight:1,637, Prius:15,639. That's roughly a 10 to one ratio against the competition.

And what happened to the Volt? Don't hear crap on it now. Toyota is kicking butt.

  • The New Prius is Beautiful every detail of the car is is beautiful to look at.

    GOOD JOB TOYOTA !

  • if you think you're saving the world when you buy a prius, think again. the rare earth metals on its motors and batteries are mined most probably in china, where safety and environmental issues are well mostly ignored, plus factor the energy and pollution it takes to refine it.

  • @fortziii no isnt the nickel mined in Canada? then shipped to Europe, then shipped to china? lol Dunno if its true but sounds like alot of fuel being burnt to make a battery.

  • @zeppelin67637

well wherever the hell it was mined, it's still a lot of energy and carbon footprint to produce it. good luck to all gay guys who bought it.

  • @fortziii if you watch the fith gear review, then you will think otherwise. people on youtube make uneducated statments

  • @etoyotarockshsucks

just like you've said.. it's just a review. did it show the details of where and how the raw materials just came along to become prius. NO they didn't. people who thinks tv reviews are the truth are the UNEDUCATED ones. dumbass, if you read it in wikipedia you'd probably say it's a fact as well.

  • @fortziii excuse me but I own the new one. Its materials are 95% recyclable and the car gets 50mpg. You're the dumbass

  • @etoyotarockshsucks

if you love toyota so much why won't you marry your prius and fuck it to have kids with it. fucking faggot thinks you're sooo good

  • @etoyotarockshsucks No, anyone who owns a Prius is a complete IDIOT LOSER! Humans can't change the environment and you look like a big pussy driving that car. Drive a V-8 with a nice roar and live life like a real person, not some little bitch!

  • i drove a prius for the first time tonight (2010 model, zipcar rental) and was pretty impressed. it handled well, had plenty of power, and delivered a smooth ride. i'd definitely buy one if i had the need for a car (ride a motorcycle and take public transportation 99% of the time).

  • Every plastic in the car is made out of oil. green my ass

  • haha Whats funny is that the making of the battery and when the battery in this car has to be taken out and it goes to the land fill it will polute the earth more than a diesel or my smoking v8 chevelle lol. you people think your being green but you really are polluting the earth more.

  • @toyotapickup94 No, it's just stupid to throw away a prius battery like that. It should be recycled.

  • @eewEinsteineew Yeah it is stupid but that's what happens to em.

  • So much time and money dedicated to the discouragement of electric vehicles these days. Maybe that is why some refer to the gasoline as a fossil fuel.

  • Maybe the prius comsumes less fuel, but the emissions are far too high.

  • For people who think they are "Saving the planet" by driving a prius are way off. It has been scientifically proven that the Prius emits FAR, FAR more emissions than any SUV, Truck, whatever on the market. The resoruces needed to make the batteries emit more emissions than a regular gasoline car emits after 200k miles. If you want to "save the planet" drive a diesel, very low emissions and fuel efficent. Hybrids/electric cars will die off, i personally believe hydrogen cars are the future.

  • Prius is getting better and better every year

  • Ahh short N' sweet

  • I bought a 2010 Prius II about 14 months ago and now have 32,000 miles on it.

Not one problem or complaint. If you want a decent, reliable car that will save money, this is it. My gas bill went from $350 a month to $140. It's no sports car but it gets the job done. I will buy another in a year or two.

  • @dortmundpls

I pay less for my 95 GMC 1500 Diesel that has a 35 gallon tank and I only pay about 100$ a month to fill

  • @dortmundpls who gives a shit about a gas bill? Live a little!

  • I wouldn't buy one personally.. But i'd get the new highlander ;)

  • These cars are pieces of shit as are all hybrids plus they are very dangerous. The people that own these cars actually think they are saving the planet. If we would not listen to the goof ball enviromentalists gas prices would be very low.

  • I would rather buy a chevy volt, the volt is much better looking ,much quicker acceleration , and still better mileage, also the volt has working brakes and steering. P.S. did you know that prius cruise control will accelerate when going around a corner when it loses line of sight with the car ahead, just think about that, at the worst possible point to accelerate on a wet rainy day in a corner, what a piss poor design-toyota sucks!

  • @meattube4u33 first off its a CHEVY volt, chevy makes some of the shittiest cars around! it does NOT have better mileage, the battery only gets 40 miles when its supposed to be more of an electric car, it has a small engine that holds around 300-400 miles worth of fuel which fails in comparison to the prius'. the cruise controls stops as you break and what do most people do at a curve?? hmmm...break! stop dissing toyota seriously, if you want the volt and the constant recalls and shit go for it!

  • @meattube4u33 BTW, the nissan leaf gets 100+ miles on its battery so compare the volt to a car in its OWN class, the nissan leaf which still is far superior. sure chevy can have the acceleration but hybrids are meant to teach us to be more efficient drivers yet the volt does that how?

  • @tyragurl You said (compare the volt to a car in its OWN class) the leaf is an all electric car, NOT A HYBRID, the volt is a hybrid, the prius is a hybrid, THE LEAF IS NOT A HYBRID,its an all battery powered car just like the American made TESLA ROADSTER which gets over 200 miles on its battery and stomps the leaf's ugly ass, so maybe next time get your facts straight before you open your mouth and show your stupidity.P.S. the new American cars are the best in the world - deal with it!

  • hahaha its a tampon on wheels

  • ahhh that dashboard would drive me crazy

  • the chevy volt is much much better

  • @meattube4u33 Not for $40K. It better come with a lifetime warranty.

  • @Section7G4 the prius ( gay name ) is one ugly fucking turd of a car, and as if that alone wasnt enough the volt beats it in performance and fule economy not to mention 10-1 in cool factor. As a bonous volt buyers wont be sending American money to japan and wont further devalue our dollar and how far it goes at the store.Plus the volt has BRAKES that work!!!

  • @meattube4u33 You're gonna call a car gay because of the name. That's so funny. If that's true there are worse car names out there than Pruis. Don't know about you there were very few case where the breaks didn't work and a lot more opportunist out there trying to make a quick buck. I'm all for buying American, but don't believe in over paying for something just support it. Volt's starting price should be no more than $30,000. I'm mad that GM took away EV1 and waited 15 years later to make the

  • @meattube4u33

the Volt. And yeah for $40k i can buy a better looking car with the so call COOL FACTOR : ) ...Yes the Volt might look better than most starter EV cars but .... for $40K..Really...Really..I know there's Government tax break, but only last so long before they stop it. Like i said, it better come with life time warranty. If it was the same price or a little higher than the Prius then it might be worth leasing not buying. Plus the Plug in Prius coming soon and air compression cars.

  • When you buy a Prius you don't care about performance or design, you only want a safe, low consumption and reliable car.

  • Don't buy a Jetta Kroutcan, I did and it can't stay out of the shop! Electrical problems from hell and after two years the paint is peeling, oh and did I mention NO resale? Next time it will definately be a Toyota...

  • @Mrphatbastard1

Jettas are definitely junk. The only problem is Toyota has been cutting quality like crazy. They really have no room to run their reputation off of the great cars they made 15 or 20 years ago but they still do. You are better off with something else.

  • @Mrphatbastard1 Isn't it amazing that VW once boasted their lack of electrical components and complexity. They know how to make one thing right- a bulletproof economy car that will last forever. As a result, they became one of the world's greatest icons, and the best selling design ever. Unfortunately, since they stopped making one they've gone to hell.

And they're still yet to sell as many New Beetles so far as they did Beetles in 1971 alone.

  • @murcielago06gt

They really should save all of that complex crap for Audi and maybe use the savings to bring the price of their cars down a bit. I would love a Golf TDI if I didn't have to pay $23,000 just for the base one.

  • @CorvetteRacingFan Volkswagen is doing what everybody else is doing- appealing to the middle class, age 25-40 market. They seem not to realize what made them the giant they are today- the car for every class, for every age, for everybody. Whoever's running VW today doesn't understand why they were so successful in the first place. The Type 1 (Beetle) went 9 consecutive years of over a million units sold. Nowadays their entire lineup (13 models) can't match that.

  • @murcielago06gt

Great points! I will say one good thing for VW. GM cut quality to the point where they almost went under and had to take a bailout. Toyota has cut their quality to the point where they don't make anything decent any more. VW has had a few reliability problems but nothing like the other two. Given that I can't afford a vette, I can say that the only brand of the three that I would consider buying is VW.

  • @CorvetteRacingFan It never ceases to amaze me that we have these modern reliability problems. If anything technology should eliminate them, but it does nothing but cause them. I drive my VW 400 miles a week and it never fails me. Every little and big repair I can do myself with my tool box. I have no idea why so much technology is in cars. For a few that's fine, but every single one has the same plague. What we need is the good old economy car back. Unfortunately it's the car everyone ignored.

  • @murcielago06gt

That would be a great way to price a car lower. Imagine a $10,000 Fiesta that is cheap, efficient, and bulletproof because there is nothing on it to go wrong. I guess they just wouldn't make any money selling cars like that so they don't but at the same time there aren't very many cars that I like enough to spend 15 to 25 grand on when there are plenty of used sports cars for half that price. Maybe that is why the used market has grown so much.

  • @murcielago06gt people only car about looks anymore and care nothing about performance and reliability

  • @buddyisreal23 Exactly. Looks, and what they managed to fit in the dashboard. Unbelievable how superficial today's people are.

  • @CorvetteRacingFan nooo bmw all the way! haha

  • 2010 Prius effing owns, 130 horses never felt soOoOoOo shweeeeet, dusting midsize gas guzzling garbage on the road while doing 45+ mpg ahh heaven, all the haters on here all seem to be experts on something they've never even been in nor own. Trolling trash hahaha.

  • Something I would love to do is buy a Prius and a install a monstrous V8 engine in it.

  • @eternaIcity so would i. that low cod would make a great bonneville car

  • @eternaIcity i saw a prius with a really low body kit, and a HUGE spoiler once

  • @eternalcity and @saboobuu talk about riced up hybrids

  • @eternaIcity I don't think a V8 engine could fit in a lunchbox lol

  • @eternaIcity what's the point of being hybrid then?

  • The Prius never impressed me. Okay, so 48/51 for fuel mileage. That's pretty good when considering an Explorer gets in the teens and low 20s. Or a newer Honda Civic non-hybrid getting in the mid 30s. It is full of expensive and extremely complicated technology to achieve this. I drive an old aircooled VW. I get in the mid to high 30s all the time; low 40s if I really try. Not bad for a car you can fix with duct tape, a screwdriver, and a paperclip.

  • @murcielago06gt

Someone like you will probably like half of what I am about to type :P

Remember the old diesel Golfs? Amazing fuel economy. Check out the Honda CRX and Del Sol too. The CRX was rated at like 40 and 50 and all of them used a proper manual transmission and didn't need all of this complex crap.

  • @CorvetteRacingFan Exactly. I had a diesel Golf that I sold to get my aircooled and that thing got at least 40 no matter what I did. On a trip I was often able to get well over 50. My buddy has a 1978 Honda Civic and he says it gets in the 40s all the time.

  • its a conspiracy! their slogan was moving forward! what a conicdence they have break problems! this was a plot intended to assasinate obama. Gentelmen, we have been found out. The cat crows at midnight. You know the code. Your cyanide pills are located in a capsule inside of your rectum. You knew this day would come when you signed up for operation "accidently kill obama and the russian president super seceret code word" Goodbye gentel men. Its been a pleasure.

  • @sneakybeaver100

This is why drugs are bad for you.

  • Wow... I had no idea they put Tampons on wheels

  • I think it's awful you get 52MPG; they are advertising it with 72MPG in the UK :(

They are a bunch of spanners

  • say it with me

    INSIGHT

  • Hope so!!! Death traps for sale Hurry get yours today with the give away prices an incentives!!! Google toyota deaths, Google toyota pedal fix not working

  • I wont ever buy toyota. they're ugly designs.

Id rather spend 50k on a Tesla and go 300 miles on a single charge

or spend 70K on a Fisker and get a turbo l4 with electric engine and get 100mpg.

  • @royboy136461 Uhh, Teslas start at 100k+... Nice try though.

  • @dotZodiac Thats the roaster. Im talking about the sedan. lol

  • Prius drive sucks i have a prius. The only good thing is mpg. But I wouldnt' recommend it to anyone, unles theyre desperate for mpg.

  • what a disgusting wasteful polluting turd to buy one of these means you either have your head shoved firmly up your arse or you are ignorant of the damage they do. saving the planet my arse, eco brain washing to sell overpriced sh!t to idiots more like.

  • I like this car, but is it gay for a man? A 24 year old man

  • this car makes my balls tingle.....i love the prius....i do miss my man card though :/

  • Prius is a slow car whenever I see drivers slowing down the freeway lanes then I realize its prius duh!, get a camry or corolla for good drivers experience.

  • i <3 jews

  • I have a 1600cc turbo diesel, 0-60 in 10s & 120mph. 55MPG in town, 72MPG at 70MPH. The prius showed 51mpg at 25mph!!! Mine shows about 80mpg doing that in the right gear. My car is cheap to tax, insure, run and service. No main dealer only parts/options like a prius. The prius is 20years or more behind now, diesel took over and Toyota buried their heads in the sand. The prius would only be good with a diesel engine. The only way to make it match current diesel car economy. Who wants a prius!

  • @urbex2007

Well, when it comes to CO2 emissions, diesel has a disadvantage: 1 l diesel produces 13% more CO2 compared to 95- gasoline.

Therefore, a diesel car has to have a higher mpg than a normal car in order to reach the same emissions.

And additionally, hybrid cars are a good way for a transition to a pure electric car economy.

In the short term, diesel might be ok; in the long run, oil has no future, we need this stuff for better purposes (fertilizers, chemicals, plastics, etc.)

  • yall are fucking assholes toyota sucks by itself but this fucking shit is ridiculus. i see ppl drive these they look loke complete kunts driving down the road i got no respect for someone who drives the ugly peice of shit. stupid pricks buy these peices of shit and think their helpin the enviorment skrew it I got a porsche and a hummer they r better than this shit. how stupid can u get they also got fucking batteris that allways break . ur a fucking douche bag if u buy this full load of shit

  • @skstepunk12727 It's a fucking FAMILY 5 SEATER HATCHBACK, I don't know what you Americans came up with saving the world and shit and you can get better mpg in a smart but of coarse you need to keep your self dignity. The only thing the prius racks up for is the best mpg and CO2 figures in it's car range and don't say it's a prius it's a fucking slow car, of coarse it is, most cars like it do 0-60 between 9 or 13 seconds and it's not ugly man, did you see a fiat multipla or citroen ami 6. asswipe

  • @toyotaprius79 have fun replacing your 6,000 new battery every 3 years(:

  • @firedragon689 $6,000.00? I don't think so. The battery doesn't cost anywhere close to that. The battery is about $1,500.00 and they don't go bad in only 3 years most of the batteries are expected to last the life of the cars. They also have an 8 to 10 year warranty on the battery. I guess Toyota must be replacing a lot of batteries for free then huh? Why don't you do some research before posting BULLSHIT?

  • @whatitis99 toyota owners all suck penis and prius owners take it up the ass HARD oh fuck ya

  • @toyotaprius79 fuck u u think u know wtf ur talking about u dont

  • @skstepunk12727 HELL YEAH man only the lowest scum on the world drive toyota. and the prius is pretty much another way of telling your family your a homosexual(:

  • @skstepunk12727 You mean your mommy and daddy have a Hummer and Porsche? No one with that kind of money would type as awfully as you do, so I think it's fair to say that you're about twelve years old and are just letting out your anger on YouTube at innocent econoboxes because your parents have never said that they loved you.

  • @KrewKilledCrew At the top of the dash.

  • There cant be a "better prius"

Only enviromental whores and idiots drive these kind of cars.

If fuel economy bothers you, work more, and dont put your hands on these terrible cars. Remember in traffic people can see you in this, they can see your smug face. And thats enough to ruin the whole world.

  • just get a mercedes benz clc class !the same price like prius!!

  • @nikrakrase The prius cost nearly 7 thousand dollars less, try again

  • @jess111rocks lol 0k!!

  • Just get a BMW diesel for MUCH better fuel economy!!

  • i say diesels are severely underrated

most diesel sedans get at least 30 mpg and have over 200 lbs/ft of torque. with hybrids you'll always be going slow. diesels: you can have the fuel economy, but still have that extra power immediately on demand when you step on the gas. my friends diesel vw jetta gets almost 40mpg, sounds amazing, and is a blast to drive, thanks to its "hidden" torque. and its different from most other econoboxes on the road. screw hybrids!

  • First i love Ford Fiesta, second is Mazda MPS, Now Toyota Prius

  • its a very nice car

  • honda insight looks way better than this thing

  • hybrid cars will save the auto industry.

  • why buy a prius when you can work your ass off and buy a fuckin bmw.. plus the prius is more environmentally damaging than the m3. proof on youtube.

  • @codslayr510 well my parents r getting me a prius, and bmw's r shit...mercedes r wayyy nicer and i dont wana pay 4 gas

  • the prius is ugly as hell.

  • The Prius sold 11 thousand units in the U.S. in March 2010. The only hatchback that sold more was the Nissan Versa, at 13 thousand. Glad to see Toyota coming back.

And Toyota built a plant in Mississippi to crank 'em out for 2011 and beyond, which means U.S. jobs.

  • screw this FORD FUSION HYBRID owns prius

  • @buyAmerican92 ,DEFINATELY!!THE FUSION HYBRID OWNS THE PRIUS,AND MORE LIKELY,THE LS HYBRID!!!BUY A FUSION HYBRID!!!!

  • @MegaMaster456 Hell Yeah the prius sucks!

  • @MegaMaster456 How do you figure that? Fuel economy 34/45 vs. 48/51 Prius. Cost $28k vs. $22k Prius. 5% more interior space Fusion, nearly double the cargo area Prius. Prius manufactered in US. Fusion, Mexico. Slightly faster acceleration Fusion. Years on market, Prius. Why spend 27% more on a hybrid to get 30% less fuel economy?

  • @BW022 Well done. Notice there's no reply.

  • @dortmundpls "well done" FAGOT! you're such a fucking loser you have time to notice there was no reply? lol.

  • @BW022 Prius manufactered in US? Not yet, the Blue Springs plant was mothballed (though they will start making Corollas there). All Prius cars are manufactured in Nagoya, Japan right now.
