  • LOL he strangles him with a "banana flavored oatmeal bar".

    RIP virginia tech victims

  • Imagine sitting there in class listening to this guy read this story.

  • You'd think they would've been able to find good actors who don't have to stare at the script the whole time.

  • I love the cat's reaction at 4:23.

  • This has a similar plot to Hamlet.

  • man-to-man up your ass, bud!

  • If this is supposed to be serious and educational why is the cross-dresser sniggering all the way through?

So it's amateurish writing, but don't overblow the juvenilia example. This is why the guy went mad and shot those people, because we love to point the finger.

Like we all haven't written shit when we were young.

  • wow this one fuckin sucks, wasnt funny at all and just painful to watch

everyone go see the one by McBeefTheMovie instead

    disliked and flagged for gayness

  • I die every time at 2:05

  • adam sessler?

  • i could make this a great short film just need better actors and a slight change in the writing

  • haha.. the disclaimer is so obviously disingenuous

  • I would make the movie with the following cast:

    Richard McBeef: John Goodman

    Sue: Carrie Fisher

    John: Justin Bieber

  • why is everyone reading from the script?

  • hes kinda like a real life Michel myers,

  • Ya know Cho was absolutely nuts on an epic level so I hate to give any criticism of VT bc its not easy to educate a complete psycho but that is terrible writing for a senior level English major. Did he actually pass any of his English classes?

  • what you guys are all misunderstanding is that this is actually a comedy lol

  • Honey poo?

  • Yeah, the writing is terrible but is doesn't help that you guys are reading the fucking scripts while acting!

What a disgrace to a legendary man!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • This is fascinating and horrifying at the same time.

  • The apology is the funniest part of the performance

  • this is still the best reading of the play...by far

  • I was kinda hoping that this would be a really good play and that I would be left thinking very hard about who Seung-Hui really was.

    I was very mistaken.

  • @PKNproductions the story has potential but the writing is pure juvenile

  • I seriously use the term "dick shit" when I impersonate a person with tourettes.

  • @selleckman2

You gotta watch the movie Oldboy. That term "dick shit" was coined in that movie. Oldboy was the movie that influenced Cho into killing all those people on April 16th 2007. Once you see that movie, you will see why Cho felt his life was meaningless. That film opened my eyes and explained to me why the massacre happened.

  • @VIIROCKS oldboy was in no way related to cho. that was blown out of proportion by the media

  • This reMOTE control

  • I have an English degree I took a couple of creative writing classes. Almost wish I hadn't Porno was awful. One chick wrote about walking in on her sister greedily sucking her father's penis. Once I went to a "secular" creative writing seminar. One jackdonkey a poem about, "Have you ever stepped in a pile of cowsh!t?" Then he went on to describe the squish. Later I saw him elsewhere and he denied writing poetry. Cho's is better than some of that, but most foks don't go on to violence.

  • FUNNY SHIT HAHAHAHAH

  • well we can safely say that the theatre hasn't been deprived of a great playwright

  • I think it's pretty interesting

Like, definitely needed to be revised (the topical dialogue is really bizarre,) but a hell of a lot happens in like a 7 minute play.

  • lol how is this clearly a play written by someone who's mentally ill?... it just comes across as wacky, juvenile humour. and the fact that someone dies in the play? lol... that's not out of the ordinary. I'm sure Marey Shelly must have been insane to write Frankenstein, all that violence and death and mutilating human corpses in experiments, she must have been insane. Wrong lol.. the media and psychiatrists read far too much into everything.

  • OMG the actors voices sound like the guys off southparkl!!!!

  • Man to man, up your ass, butt! LAWL

  • You piece of prematurely ejaculating dick shit! Sucks for you YOU MOTHER FUCKING MCBEEF.

    ROFL lmfao !

  • cho sucked millions of cocks and his writing reflects that.

  • what?! ahhh!

  • cho was a fucking shit writer

  • That's seriously what he wrote?

VT must be a shitty school if Cho was able to gain admission. I mean god damn lol, that is an awful play.

  • It looks so shitty because the actors aren't really trying at all, but the play is indeed a little crude. But with a little polishing and adaptation it could be a really shine. Cho really had potential.

  • lmao funny shit

  • Guy in the green shirt's a good actor.

  • I think people have the wrong idea about this video. It doesnt glorify the writer, it mocks his shitty writing. If the kid just killed himself i might even feel bad for him, but he didnt, so i have no problem with people continueing to humiliate him even after death. This plays sucks balls, just like the whiny little pussy that wrote it. You giant tree trunk piece of ass

  • @earlykuyler1 i agree with all of this comment

  • The guy in the green shit is fucking going after it man, why isn't is energy rubbing off on anyone. He's trying to make this bearable while they just waltz around and don't really do much but read.

  • this play hurts my brain and makes them cry

  • Great Re-enactment!

  • Comment removed

  • His scripts are so bad....

  • Long live the spirit of Cho-Seung Hui; a hero to us all!

  • @zorlac86 LOL

  • god that kid was one horrible horrible writer and totally adolescent.

I'm actually thankful for this example of his horrible work. People tend to get these ideas about people who do things like this (the virg tech shooting), that they are brilliant or geniuses or somehow way more intelligent that everyone around them. Infact that is rarely the case and they are usually of below average intelligence. As cho, clearly was.

  • thanks for making fun of this guy even after his death. i can't believe this guy was an english major. Probably wouldn't understand the irony even if he was alive.

  • @myopin0vaurs

Thanks for reminding me that I share a major with a spree killer.

  • I'll shove this remote up your butt!

  • laziest video ever. i'll go to a coffee house if i want to watch liberal arts students with too much self esteem... @0:30 slack-ass motherfucker can't even be bothered to sit up straight. jeez

  • Worst play ever

  • LONG LIVE CHO BABY!

Really though, why do all the other dead people at VT have memorials but he doesn't?

  • @RashadMcCantsJr because he was a cunt

  • @RashadMcCantsJr are you fucking serious?

  • @RashadMcCantsJr Because he was a crazy murderer?

  • @RashadMcCantsJr Because he was a bastard who murdered many innocents. I bet you want hitler to have a memorial dont you?

  • @lowkeymcgee Are you serious?? Hitler doesn't have a memorial??

  • I guess that kid went on a killing spree because he sucked so much at writing plays lol

  • Cho continues to get the recognition that he craved in life, thanks to you.

  • oh god, what bullshit at the end of this video...

you guys are clearly making a joke out of this whole issue. To interpret the play so inadequately and immaturely (a guy playing a woman, don't know your lines, come on..) you are pissing on the graves of those VT victims.

Don't for a second think that anyone is going to buy that charity bullshit you have at the end.

    I certainly don't.

How would like it if someone made a farce based on all three of your obituaries...

  • whats the point of acting his with the blimin scripts in front of them? Learn your lines! or get some one who can

  • "Oh my God, what's going on?!"

Funniest part. Pretty immature writing though... I don't think most of the humor was intentional.

    RIP VT victims

  • @Geezu5 A hero?? How can you say such a thing, he murdered MANY innocent people that NO ONE deserves to happen to them. Think about your words before you say them.

  • @lolliegurl19 Yes I have thought about it and he is a hero... maybe you should save your self righteous lectures for the people who made fun of him for years and then pretended to care when he killed 32 people.

  • "This is what I catch you do!"

  • This is just goddamn hilarious.

  • this is a horrible piece of writing

  • lol! Cho was such a fag!

  • @CJXXX17 This made me laugh way harder than it should've haha

  • "What are you, a catholic priest? Let me guess. You have a pet named Dick in neverland ranch and you want me to go with you to pet him"

What poetic genius! Never have I heard such transcendent use of the English language since Keats!

    Shakespeare, eat your heart out.

  • seems more like a south park episode than anything else

  • "Hi.. DICK!"

  • I'm not so sure this script helps much in terms of finding out why Seung-Hui did what he did. The script is just an EXTREMELY sloppy work that never really goes anywhere (anyone could produce nonsense like this). Acts like those of Seung-Hui are CLEARLY a product of mental illness. Hence, if we are to get ANY answers regarding why people like Seung-Hui do what they do, we should resort to the mental health community and learn more about the illnesses that drive these people.

  • The significance of the play to Cho's eventual actions is that Cho believed he was being (or had been) victimized for no reason (just like Richard McBeef). Constantly being ridiculed and mistreated for doing nothing wrong eventually resulted in a violent outburst.

But this is just my interpretation of it, I'm not trying to defend him or anything. I've read that many people tried to befriend him (even though he behaved like a social pariah) but he was too caught up in his own shit to open up.

  • @Eljonno I agree with you. He believed he was the one being mistreated (while this is true in regards to being bullied back in high school) and this play affirms his psyche. He believes he is Richard McBeef, always wronged by everyone around him, eventually committing a horror of an act (a foreshadowing of the shootings) as a direct reciprocal of the (perceived) horrors committed at him. The kid needed MAJOR help. I seriously hope something like this never happens again.

  • This play doesn't seem like it was written by a serial killer, more like an immature 6th grader. This script doesn't seem to be an indicator of possible future violence.

  • Eat this you giant tree-trunk piece of ass!

  • lol 2:31 "He called me a son of a bitch!"

  • This is pretty sick. You are publicizing this killer's work!

  • oh, shut the fuck up... watch all the way through asshole

  • While it isn't clear to what extent Cho was mentally disturbed, we can safely say that he was a terrible and juvenile writer.

  • lol this is hilarious

  • Seung Hui Cho is a terrible person and a terrible writer.

  • Fuck you shithead! Obviously you have never read Macbeth, Oedipus Rex, Hamlet or even Titus Andronicus...and all other classical pieces and plays that involves incest, fratricide, and murder.

If Cho had attained literary recognition, he'd be placed along Sophocles and Ovid. Read Joyce's Ulysees, it breaks all established writing norms, just as "Richard McBeef" and "Mr. Brownstone" breaks the traditions in writing.

  • Dude. What is wrong with you. You think this is great writing? You pretend you have read great works to compare them to this pointless, childish...creation. We are talking about the ranting of a mass murderer, and if you enjoy giving such a person credos for expressing pure violence, I have serious doubts about what your own writing must be. Yes, other great works involve incest, fratricide, and murder, yet they are involved, complex, thorough masterpieces. This isn't.

  • Sophocles? I can't believe that was even said.

  • this is really funny

  • Why did Cho hate fat people so much? Anorexic?

  • Hey guys. This Gypsy woman who runs this Tarot Card store down my street told me last night that if you say the words "Richard McBeef" three times in front of a mirror, Cho Seung Hui will appear. I thought she was full of shit, but I tried it anyway just for fun and Cho totally fucking appeared. I am not lieing! It was the most freaky shit ever! I then said "Richard McBeef" five more times and I became him.

  • u one of the dads?

  • Sucks they're reading from the scripts, could be funnier.

  • Truth.

  • I'm sorry, but this is hilarious to me.

  • I would have loved to be in Cho's class after he read this play... I would kill to see the students' faces.

  • lololo just make sure you werent there on april 16th

  • I wish I was there! Glock vs. Glock, it just comes down to marksmanship, and I am Picasso.

  • It is a sad, sad reflection in American society that 32 murders is nothing after enough time. The first two or three months, it is a solemn event, clear in the minds of all, and no one even jokes about weapons. Yet just two years later, we all talk as if nothing happened. Most of the rest of the world learned their lessons from school shootings after one or two. We have had shootings with dozens of deaths for decades. And another mass killing will come one day. And we'll forget it again.

  • That's how society works in realtime, even though it is sad. Just like everyone VILLIFIES Hitler ENDLESSLY for killing 6 million Jews EVEN though Stalin killed more than 40+ million Russians during his reign of terror.

"Some children died the other day,

We fed machines and then we prayed,

Puked up and down in morbid faith,

You should have seen the ratings that day"

    -The Nobodies, Marilyn Manson

  • You can't spend life mourning. You have to move forward.

  • "This is what I catch you do?"

Also, guys, way to not even attempt to conceal the fact you are reading from a script

  • It is written that way.

  • His mom is a female impersonator and his stepdad is a pedophile ... poor John.

Columbine killer Dylan Klebold's story - the one where a guy blows away a bunch of jocks - is fairly scary and creepy, especially in hindsight. This one is just dumb. The only thing remotely disturbing about it is that it was written by a creative-writing major at a respected university.

(Of course, I penned a few crummy stories - and one or two decent ones - in my college days, so maybe I'm not one to talk...)

  • That script was written way before he died.

  • c'mon you could have done a better job than that...

  • OMFG.

    This writing is extreme.

  • Probably could have been prevented if he wasn't bullied in middle school. In my psychology class we learned that bullied people just become more alienated from society. After I started teaching I could see that emotional abuse still continues, particularly over differences in sexual orientation, disability, and different class. Society def. has part of the blame in this. Thoughts to the victims' families.

  • @woofer0doofer lots of people get bullied in school and turn out to be perfectly fine later on. Nope, it was more than that with this kid. He was defective from birth. Doomed.

  • @gnomit I don't think anyone is "perfectly fine" after being bullied. They often become depressed and sometimes commit suicide. Those that bully face an increased incidence of incarceration as adults. Yet we only give attention to those who respond to being bullied with violence and never stop the problem.

  • @woofer0doofer after things like this happen everyone always looks for rationale or a way this could have been prevented. you can't prevent someone from deciding they're going to shoot a bunch of people. if they're going to do it they're going to do it and nothing is going to stop them. after Columbine the public went after the Goths after VT it was people with mental disorders and bullying. Kids are nasty mean little bastards and they're going to bully others. I should know.

  • so shakespearean. so beautiful!

  • lol this is excellent.

Great acting and a great script. I love cho's work.

    :)

Did cho hand this play in as an assignment? with all the swearing etc? ROFL what a champ.

  • my english teacher's five year old could write a better play

  • CHO IS AN HERO

  • ???? please seek therapy

  • HE HAd no WAY OURT, THEY MADE HIM DO WHAT he di, it wasnt oh pleasant and i wouldnt do it but that why heis and hero!

  • wrong, there are numerous and better ways to get yourself out of problems, going on a mass murder rampage and then offing yourself does not make you a hero. way out of what? please explain to me, how killing 32 people makes him heroic, were they threatening his life? NO, were they threatening someone else's life? NO, they weren't even bullying him, bullying stopped for him at the end of high school. and why are you spelling everything wrong?

  • forget therapy seek a bullet

  • Somehow you guys managed to take a truly dismal piece of theater and make it sound, well, at least enjoyable, if from an ironic point of view.

I mean the play is hardly even worth evaluating, let alone calling good or bad either way.

  • please get help, seek therapy, we don't need any more innocent people getting killed. :(

  • Lol....what a stupid play.

I did laugh numerous times though; is that wrong?

Especially at the end the look the stepdad gives to the camera after killing the kid.

  • In Cho's original idea, John was 13, that's older than 13 : ]

  • also, the mom was a man.

  • huh?

  • That kid gaves serial killers a bad name.

  • a serial killer is different to a mass murder ~

  • shoot me.

  • wow. cho seung-hui was a fucking retard. thank god that magget off'd himself, that was the worst screen play ive ever seen. He was in college and it sounded like a pissed off 5th grader wrote this....I COULD SHIT A BETTER SCREEN PLAY than this. And the people that acted it out are fucking morons for doing so. you people have balls to look this stupid and put it on the internet.

  • he was 13 when he wrote this dipshit

  • he wrote it in 2006

but i still find hothotz's comment insanely unnecessary and innapropriate.

  • nope he wrote it for one of his writing classes at Virginia tech

  • That makes so much sense, I got my fact off wikipedia, so you're probably right

  • This is entertaining

  • cho seung hui - national hero who showed everyone how to stand up for themselves.

    /sarcasm

  • i started reading your comment and was about to send an angry reply, but then i read the sarcasm part lol, thank god i read the whole thing before replying

  • I've watched a few of these Richard McBeef videos, and they all disappoint. The dialogue doesn't need to be cheesed up or performed badly; it's bad anyway. It should be serious. I'd even like the actors to speak the script as it was written, grammar errors intact. Cho Seung-Hui was not just a terrible writer and artist, he was obsessed with things that most of us got over in elementary school. He's insignificant, and that's what a film of his retarded play should really highlight.

  • LOL nice

  • the play could turn out to be something really special - reminds me of roberto zucco by bernard-marie koltes.. but i really don't like this.

  • Richard McBeef - THE MUSICAL! Coming to Virginia Tech!

  • i actually like it!

  • one of the worst plays ive ever seen

  • Why am I not surprised this will be transformed into a movie 20-30 years from now?

  • it's not just 'hard' to put something unspeakable into words, it's impossible.

  • i find his use of the phrase 'get on terms [with him]' to be very interesting.

  • Thought 1: The obvious script reading is taking away from the point of what your statement said you were trying to do.

Thought 2: You got the right guy for McBeef.

Thought 3: This should have just been an audio track. The just looks like a table read.

Thought 4: Dude looks like a lady.

    Thought 5: Pillow Fight!!!!

    Thought 6: 3:46-3:51=Uncomfortable

    Thought 7: 4:25=Terrified Cat

Final Thoughts: God that's an ugly woman, and, the dialogue in this story is terrible.

  • you guys have a really nice apartment.

  • What an incoherent nightmare.

  • where can i get a copy of this script

  • wtf? is that really what seung wrote?

  • Yes, it is.

  • Man! How come ther`e reading the script! That ruins everything!

  • Why would you want to memorize a piece of $hit?

  • i have a kid in my h.s who talked for like a week freshman year n now he wont talk at all i sit next to him in comp apps n he looks up really weird things what should i do

  • Bring this problem somewhere other than youtube...

  • Buy a dog

  • Touch his peepee.

  • Fucking homo

  • I love you, baby. Licky licky.

  • I would kick ur ass pussy

  • Oooh, I really like the closet homos who like it ROUGH. Beat me up, big boy. Mmmmm. I bet you take cock so well. Oh yeah.
