Renki thinks he is the most important wolf at Wolf Park. Several of the other wolves don't think so, so he's in the middle somewhere, not alpha or omega.

Sam and I would howl together. She was a Australian cattle dog (blue heeler). She has since passed away and I still miss her and always will. I'll never forget you Sam. There's no other dog in the world like you. I love you forever ! ! !

I have a whole album of nothing but wolf howls that I've had since I was a child. I love to listen and watch them. To quote a movie 'The children of the night, what beautiful music they make.' He's a beauty!

he's kinda funny... :) like when he stops he looks at them like "Should I do more?" and then it's like he gets this look in his eye "Oh, oh ok I will" I just love how innocent they are ( well not exactly, like in hunting or other related things)

Renki is a nice wolf who is always glad to make new friends. He is the only wolf who isn't afraid of the teeter totter. It's his special toy and he loves to show off and earn treats with it.

Wolves are just wolves- not good or bad. They have a purpose in the ecosystem and when they are removed by man, the natural matrix of life forms is distorted. They coexisted for tens of thousands of years with great herds of prey animals and continue today to be a valuable element in those wild ecosystems where they can survive and have positive effects. We try to honor the lives of our captive wolves by presenting them as ambassadors of their wild relatives.

great response Tom. I have yet to make it out to Wolf park. I have mostly been out west where the wolf right now doesn't stand a chance.

The mis-information and scare tactics by the ranchers and wolf haters is beyond reason, and apparently have the only say since the Obama administration has turned a deaf ear to any wildlife communities.

Thanks to all who serve at wolf park. Education is key.

These wolves are obviously different than the wolves I have some experiences with.

Differend voice ,too. Gray wolves that I know seems to be much wilder in behaviour there where I live (on the other side of the Globe in Croatia). In 1992 I succedeed to release the gray wolf pack back into the wild. Now I can say that wolves have taken at least 25 years of my life.

I sat on my front porch, and played Renki and Tristan howling in their respective videos. And I had wild coyotes respond to both of them!

My uncle has a cattle farm and wolves often sneak into his barn and slaughter his calves. There beautuful and freakin terrifying at the same time.

The wolf is only large wild animal I would get in a pen with as long as they are used to humans just little bit. They are the only ones that I trust even a little bit.
