  • Thank you Brigitte Mars! This single youtube video has helped my whole week dramatically!!!! Keep being Rawsome!

  • Out of curiosity why would it matter if you cooked something and denatured the enzymes? Any enzyme you eat will get broken down by your digestive system anyway.

  • Is almond milk fattening to drink everyday?

  • @iamleothelioness, it's only fattening if you eat too much. 'Get in tune' to what your body reveals/indicates/how it responds, and adjust accordingly. You are a physical engine, in addition to your mental side of being. Get in tune with your engine and how it responds to what you do or don't do. And shake your booty.

  • You are inspirational!

  • beautiful

  • That was a VERY old Vita-Mix in the background.

  • LOVED YORU VIDEO TY

  • Thank you.

  • At first glance all of the food looks cooked, amazing stuff. I think I will try the kale salad! :)

  • I bought your book when it first came out. It has taken all of these years, to actually get to it! I just needed the encouragement and support of videos. There are some great receipes circulating on you tube, and I am so happy to have come across yours!! Thank you! Started again this past week, and loving it.

  • yummy in the tummy ! =D

  • Hi Brigitte !..I just watched your debate with Susun weed..I must say you handled yourself really well. you stayed so nice and centered. I have been on a raw food diet for a while now I can honestly say that as a massage therapist I have a lot more endurance on the raw foods. for example on the cooked I would be tired after 2 hours of massage and on the raw I recently did 7.5 hours of massage Phew!!. lol..but I had so much energy and was so centered I could have done more. Great work Be well !

  • I love raw food! It's so nutritious and easy to make :-) I purchased this fun book from Love St., as well.

  • absolutely amazing book! I got a copy at love street living foods

  • This is a blessing to us to have this video. In less then 10 minutes you gave very good lessons on simple creative fast healthy food examples. What more could we want? I am greatful for your efforts. Your love for what you do shows. Thank you much.

  • I have been raw for 2 days and was about to give up until I was surfing youtube and saw your video. God Bless you and thanks for being so kind. I cannot wait to purchase your book!!

  • fucking hippies

  • I love how straight forward, clear cut, your video is! Excellent! I think I can do it! Thank you so much!

  • wow this is one of my favorite videos of all time, who new how easy some of these raw meals are, I eat a 75% raw diet but do it with a juicer and a blender, and my hands . ha,

  • Everything loks delicuious!

I've heard that agave nectar is worse than high fructose corn syrup though; is that true?

  • RAW is WAR!

  • excellent video! thank you!

  • Wow! This really opened my eyes!

  • I made the zucchini pasta exactly as Brigitte demonstrates, only I did add a large clove of garlic to add flavor to the rather sweet sauce. It was superb! It tasted just like the commercial variety of pasta sauce, only wonderfully raw and flavor full. The non raw members of my family raved over it and said it tasted cheesy. (No dairy or nut cheese used.) It took me about two minutes to make, not counting the time it took to soak the sun dried tomatoes. I'm going to make it for quick lunch often.

  • Thank you so very much, Brigitte, for this demonstration. I ordered the saladicio from Amazon. Now, I'm off to purchase fresh sun dried tomatoes to make the wonderful looking pasta you created. Mm...my mouth is watering. Can't wait! Blessings!

  • You can also use a julienne peeler, it's much more affordable and easy to find :)

  • Wow! Not bad at all! These actually look appetizing! I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian, but I just might have to give this a go!

  • ha ha! She said 'nut milk'!

  • What about tea? Is solar tea acceptable?

  • Most raw foodists will drink hot tea, especially in a cold climate. I do. But sun teas in the summer.

  • what I love about this is it is a sharing x x x x she is so un judgemental x x thank you

  • I hear that the almond skin is bad because of tannins (so they say to blanch or peel the skins). And Gabriel Cousins has recipes using the leftover almond "pulp" dehydrating it to make a flour. Rhio has a video on youtube that makes almond yogurt too!

  • The skin is easy to remove once the almonds have been soaked. So no need to use heat :)

  • i love this book. thanks brigitte..

  • Geat vid, Brigitte. I'm trying to understand why we throw out the bathwater of the soaked almond babies? I've done this too when sprouting. But now that i've turned raw I'm curious if there's toxin or nutrition or just what's the rationale for throwing out the water those almonds soaked in...just in case it's a waste.

  • You want to get rid of the enzyme inhibitors. You can use the water to water plants. Blessings,

    Brigitte Mars

  • I use the water to water plants. You don't want the enzyme inhibitors. That's what you are wanting to get rid of by soaking.

  • yo gal, tie up ur hair in ja kitchen!

  • I add a lot of flavors to my flax crackers and found out that if you make it somewhat watery instead of spreading it you can spoon it on the sheets in circles/ovals and then dehydrate. You end up with tasty flax chips.

  • This video and her book got me started on raw food. I feel so good now.

  • Brigitte Mars is soooo sexy. I'm 20, raw, organic, superfoodist, horny, and i want her.

  • This video is soo inspiring. After watching I went and bought your book (which is amazing) and the spiroolini. I have tried and loved the recipes shown here. Im slowly incorporating more raw foods into my diet. THanks you sooo much for inspiring and helping me make the transition to Raw foods. Please keep posting here on youtube and sharing your knowledge. You have truly touched my life. Thank you. Blessings

  • you guys are amazing, and smart too keep up the good work.

  • i had no idea almond milk was that east!

    i'm going to try that!

    :D

i'm not a raw vegan, but can you make soy milk raw?

  • I'm not 100% sure, but I think that soy cannot be digested in its raw state.

  • We tend to only use soy in its fermented state such as unpasteurized miso and Nama Shoyu tamari. Otherwise, soybeans can be hard to digest and inflammatory.

    Blessings,

    Brigitte Mars

  • No to raw soy milk.

    Blessings,

    Brigitte Mars

  • Soy beans are one of the most difficult beans to digest. No to raw soy milk. However fermented soy products such as unpasteurized miso or tamari are used and easier to digest.

  • @brigittemars I have problems with most soy, but with the edamme cooked for three minutes, I do not have problems. No, they are not raw, but good to know for those who still incorporate some cooked foods. They are sooooo yummy, wanted to mention. :)

  • THAT WAS QUICK! when is diner? the fries looks good. in thailand they got the jicama but they use sugar and hot peppers but yours look better. i got to buy that noodle thing.

    mahalo

  • i definitely have to buy this book

  • Magnificent! I always come across your book at Borders. But now I think I'm going to actually buy it :P

  • YOU RAWK MAMA.. THANK YOU....

  • Almonds also contain arsenic, which is natures cancer preventative.

    Arsenic 'kills' cancer cells.

GMO is engeneering arsenic out of our foods.

  • Almonds are also being irradiated these days. Definitely in the US - don't know about other countries.

  • We are buying Spanish almonds which are not pasteurized.

    Blessings,

    Brigitte Mars

  • I miss you Brigitte you are awesome!!Patty

  • :-)
