  • I cant get my head around the fact that Jesus supposedly came down to earth with the most important message for all of mankind, yet it appears he was illiterate. The gospels were written in Greek many many years after he died. People to this day argue over the meanings of what he supposedly said. I am more than a little skeptical about his veracity.

  • I see no need for a Q document whatsoever. Perhaps someone can explain why it must have existed but I can't see it. I think Mark wrote his gospel first and was an allegory of the mythical Jesus as a way to slap the Jewish leaders immediately after the fall of Jerusalem. "Mark" a gentile Christian was anti-semitic as many gentile Christians were because they knew the Jews as a whole had rejected the gospel MESSAGE (not Jesus himself) and this reluctance to accept it caused the schism.

  • What is Pierre talking about? What is the point he is trying to make about the 4 gospels?

at first I though the man on the left was missing his right hand but 2:11 cleared things up.

  • Pierre Grimes is fucking senile as all hell. He was my Phil of Western Religion professor and he seems to be at times completely insane. He forgets what he is speaking about and then just rants on about completely incoherent facts.

  • @deusahominis did you fail his class?

  • i hate to eat otr drink front of others and i jhate manners and habbits

  • Yeah, looking at other people while chewing and slurping food and drink isn't my idea of a social event either.

  • Please post more!

  • dezgusting speculations ...that`s what happens when u drop some lsd in your coffee: metaphysics and theology .

  • A so called scholars job is to keep people brainwashed and asleep.

  • Not really. this only occurs when one does not understand of what the scholar speaks and more so, when one does not intend on understanding for the reason that they, themselves are either incapable of doing so or think too highly of the illusion of the prefection of their own thought, that they find no need to become involved with any other thought or thought process.

  • Tell me then, how come the scholars never talk about Esau? lol

  • No The Scholars Job is exactly the opposite

  • Answer my question I asked the other guy, he didnt answer it. How come the scholars dont teach you about Esau, Jacobs brother? It is a very important question.

Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Why do the scholars say the Nebateans had the buildings carved out of the mountains in Mt Seir(modern day Petra, Jordan)?

  • Im not talking about bible Scholars specifically, but scholars in general. And that was a response to your generalization that "A so called scholars job is to keep people brainwashed and asleep" wouldn't you agree that this statment would hold less true if it were in regards to an ecologist or a Nietzsche scholar?

  • To be honest, Im sure on the ground level, there are honest people, the ones getting their hands dirty. But everything always gets covered up through the publishers, executives etc. Just look at the trash they put on the History Channel, and thats where most of retarded Amerikans get their history.

  • @doubleaamazin I'm an American. I'm from Texas. Where can I get my history from if you think the History Channel is misleading? thank you

  • this guy seems interesting he should put up more stuff!

  • Of course this view entirely removes revelation from the picture.

  • I know that the gospels weren't written down accurately in the first place. They didn't want to upset the Roman rulers too much so they watered down their words. There was also a trade-off of purity for the sake of getting the message out.

  • religion should be separated from politics

  • Pierre writes:

They have never been separated. People die for both, are devoted to both. What is the difference between the cross and the flag, since you owe allegiance to both?

    -Pierre

  • devotion is for those who are giving up their rights and freedom because of fear!

devotion is for those who blow themselves up in the name of god!

    devotion is very dangerous!

  • Are you devoted to nothing, then?

  • If only we could all have coffe with Pierre, i'd be there all day having a good old chat.

  • About What?

    -Pierre

  • I would probably talk about what Pierre thinks is to come of this world in the next 10 years or so. Politics and religion have become so corrupt that it's made the world unstable, or so i think... it's not going to last.

Although both in my eyes are just means of control, so maybe they we're already corrupt from the start.

  • In other words, you've bought into all of the fashions of today's dictatorship of relativism. Today's true individual must embrace orthodoxy. All we see today is a vast herd of "individuals." Many are easily spotted: they've branded themselves with tattoos.

  • Insightful, instructive, although not must of an interloctor to argue with. Let's get a dialectic going here!

  • Straight to the crux (ahem) of the situation. Thank you for posting.

  • Love and Peace to you.

  • Thanks, good video.

  • Glad to see Pierre is still well. I hope to see more vids soon.

  • My comment was apparently too short, what a dumb rule =)
