  • Good lookin specimen.

  • As far as the people dying from bites goes, defense my friend. Snakes don't attack people. They defend themselves. A snake doesn't know whats trying to kill it and what doesnt want to harm it. In a world based on survival of the fittest, the snake has a better chance assuming everything wants to kill it. And even if a python and a rattle snake would fight, which they wouldn't, since the rattle snake is an ambush predator, it would obviously kill the python before it could get a word in edge wise

  • saying 1/3 of the bites don't pass venom is at least locally here dead wrong, of the last 20 snake bites in south west Nebraska all the bites on humans had poision.

not counting over a 100,000 cattle are killed yearly by rattler bites, so poision is their game.

hope we can wipe them out before the nation falls and anti venom is a thing of the past.

  • wipe them out? you're a moron. If the nation failed it'd be because of people just like you.

  • @rodnisimo

double if a man who works 7 days a week selling snow cones, and 5 nights a week working minimum wage making donuts is going to destroy this nation.

I only want the children and the elderly safer, I also want livestock and pets not to be killed before their time, needlessly. I am sorry I anger you,

I can only ask you to forgive my stand against rattle snakes, and wish you never to have to bury pets and friends killed by rattle snakes.

  • my bacteria will erase your world!

  • MY ANACONDA WILL CRAWL UR ASS...LOL

  • Your ignorant. Pythons aren't snake eaters. Snakes don't kill if they don't intend to eat. if anything, that rattlesnake would kill your python. Pythons need to constrict, all that crotalus would need to do is bite...

  • any snake will eat a smaller snake.

  • Not true, there are only select species of snakes that will eat other snakes. For example any snake in the Lampropeltis family, which would be kingsnakes and milk snakes, anything in the Naja family which would be cobras, not every cobra is in the naja family though. King Brown snakes. And thats not all. Im sure theres many more, but nowhere near any snake. The amount of snake eaters doesnt even put a dent in the total snake species.

  • "Want me to go right into hid face? look at this...."

    lol

  • hes not close hes just zoomed in

  • you're such an idiot. theres plenty of fucking snakes all over America too, especially in the southwest. who the fuck even knows where/what aruba is

  • Is aruba a kind of watermelon?

  • aruba is an island

  • Never heard of it.

  • its dutch but its in the caribbean and its by brazil or argentina or sumthing like that

  • I catch this snakes at my camp!!!

  • Good video.

  • how to make a rattle snake cry?????

    Take away its rattle

    LOL

  • lmfao, funny.... xD

  • That is one adorable snake!

  • did anyone else think about dane cooks snake joke while watching this

  • put ur foot next to its head see what happens

  • walk up closer, see what happens

  • that rattling movement by its tail is a warning to stay away, yes?

  • nah dude it means come lick me on teh scalez!

  • It's like when a dog wags its tail. It wants you to pet him.

  • @CptAhab1234 yeah, anyone who comes across a rattlesnake can easily tell that its happy.

  • ok here it is, statistically, about 90% of people that get bitten by snakes are male, ages 18-25, drunk and for some reason have tattoos. But the most convincing piece of evidence is that most of them are bitten on the for arm, henceforth one would conclude that they were being dumbasses and trying to pick them up. Also, snakes are not out to just randomly kill humans, about 99% of the time they bite people they are provoked or feel threatened. So 99% of the time it is not the snakes fault.

  • Good place for a 12 gauge.

  • Beautiful snake, nice movie.

The majority of bites involve young to middle aged men, alcohol and trying to pick the snake up. Not exactly the snake's fault and not a great reason for you to be afraid unless you're a drunken young man with something to prove (like that you're not too smart).

  • one of those bit by friend and almost cost him his leg...

    i hate those things

  • what was your friend doing to make the snake bite him

  • Maybe it wasn't his friend's fault that he got bitten, did you ever consider that? I swear, you snake-worshipers that think people are ALWAYS at fault when they get bitten are worse than the folks are PETA. If you love snakes so much why don't you just marry a snake and have little mutant snake babies with it. Geez.

  • at whay point did i say that i was a snake worshiper. i think his friend would have heard the rattle. he must have been doing something to annoy it.

  • You weren't there to see this happen, and the guy didn't even describe the situation to you. For all you know, his friend could have accidentally stepped on or near the snake and been bitten before he even knew what was happening. Happens quite often, believe it or not. For you to just assume that his friend "must have been doing something to annoy it" pretty much makes you an idiot.

  • you are the idiot. a snake doesnt hear it feels vibrations so his friend had plenty of warning.

  • That doesn't make any damn sense. "A snake doesn't hear it feels vibrations so his friend had plenty of warning." One thing doesn't equal the other. You have no reason to make assumptions about something you weren't even there to see. And if you think that people are always at fault when they get bitten by a snake and that many times they don't even see the snake before it bites them, then you are indeed a moron.

  • why the fuck am i even having an argument with a prat like you. thing is YOU WERNT THERE EITHER. so kindly get a life, and your mother is the moron for even having you.

  • please see my video response to you, wanted to know I encountered a pigmy rattle. thanks

  • I would be scared

  • when it rattles, I thought it meant it was a warning to stay away. Was it angry/threatened by you or somethingelse? because it wasn't looking at you...

  • they don't always point there heads at you, they're funny like that

  • Don't be scared of the Rattling, be scared of the Screeching. Once a rattle snake begins to Screech it means it is seriously pissed off.

  • lol

  • Sweet snake ver y cool

  • ouch

  • Why does that hurt? Did it burn ur flesh to hear that name?

  • Denmark zoo maybe.

  • Great Animal... We dont got those here in Denmark...

  • that's is westren diamondback rattlesnake!

  • i saw a vid of this man cutting a rattle snakes rattle thing and selling it

  • Yeah, it's a nice one. Great camerawork too. "Highly evolved", eh? Isn't it odd how so many different species "evolved" to have such specialized intricate functions, without any of which, they wouldn't be able to exist? Almost as if each species were ... designed? :-)

  • Designed by natural selection yes, but natural selection is not a conscious process. You have to be careful not to anthropomorphize.

And no it's not odd at all. Evolution is a process by which the differential survival of inheritable variation determines the form of species. Having specialized functions that contribute to the survival and reproduction of an individual in a species is not odd, it is the inevitable outcome of this process.

  • When it's rattleing like that it means you better get away.

  • beautiful atrox
