Fox began producing TV shows in the fall of 1955 (after Walt Disney's success with "DISNEYLAND" in 1954, most of the major movie studios decided not to "fight" TV anymore, wanting the same kind of lucrative deal Disney had with ABC, by producing their own filmed series)- beginning with "THE 20th CENTURY-FOX HOUR" for CBS, then "BROKEN ARROW" for ABC...
20th Century-Fox Television produced "HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE" (1957-'59) for National Telefilm Associates as part of a deal to supply their syndicated "NTA Film Network" (1957-'60) with TV series produced especially for them, as well as a package featuring several of Fox's pre-1948 theatrical movies. However, Fox really didn't want to publicly admit they were producing TV shows at the time, so they referred to themselves as "TCF".
