you need to give them more veggies , like lettuce, tomatoes, corn on the cob. Also insects like eath worms. Do you ever get any that lay eggs..hatchlings ?

Allegedly some can. But mine all sink like I put lead chains on them. Needless to say, gave up on any really deep water in the enclosure.

These guys are turtles.... They're primarily aquatic as babies, then get more terrestial. The adults, when you put them in water, sink like rocks.

Monkey chow! An explanation because of popular demand... It's actually a food designed for monkeys (sorry, not containing monkeys) put out by Mazuri foods. They do a lot of stuff for zoo animals. They also do a tortoise chow, which is more vegetable matter based (but still contains probably more protein than a tortoise should have).
