Dual boot OSX and Windows 7 (Part 2)

hey dude, after i add the boot thing, it goes into chameleon or chimera which ever, i hit f8 the choose mac os x and it just sits on the chameleon logo.please help.

Hi there - this is a great tutorial - answers a lot of questions I didn't really get with other instructions and would have saved me from installing Windows 7 twice. The thing that is tripping people up is that EasyBCD version 2 does not have the same options that are seen in the video. There is no "Add/Remove Entries" tab. There is a "Add Entries" tab, but when you go there, there is no "generic x86" to select in the Mac tab.

hey i get to do all the set up and stuff but when i reboot it the APPLE logo comes out BUT with an INVALID sign over it and this happend to another apple torrent that i download and burned it to a disk so just REPLY PLZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just as a Heads up for anyone wondering where to get the iso. I noticed the writing on the cd in part 1 just before it was put in the computer. I looked up that and found it in like30 secs. so if your stumped just refer to part one and open them eyes. :)

Wow, this is the best tutorial by far on Installing and Dual Booting Mac OS X and Windows 7!

My quick question would be similar to others that have posted. I am running on a

- Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E6750 @ 2.66Ghz

- nVidia GeForce 8800GT 512Mb

- 2Gb of RAM (Will be upgrading within this month to a 4Gb)

Will this tutorial work for me. I know it will run Windows 7 smoothly since that's what I'm using but what about OS X? Thanks man!

great... i followed your instructions and i can boot to the mac logo and then it restarts or if i select my windows partition it just says the disk is inaccessible. basically my computer is fucked thx man

I was wonder can I just reload the old windows boot and winload.exe like back them up before mac install.And how did you spam the task bar and use different walls in win 7 on a GeForce card every time I try to force install nView on windows other then win xp it fails if its not nView is it "Acer Vista Grid" nice tut I might have to do that cuz my mac cant boot any more

hey guys I need your help! I downloaded osx and got a file. I found several posts about how to burn it onto a dual dvd in Windows( transmac; extend the file; blabla) nothing worked: I extended it in Transmac, tried to burn it in the program: it failed in the middle of writing; tried nero,no luck; after extension got a bigger file but after mounting it with Daemontools, virtual drive only showed a 700mb disk utility or something. Somebody please tell me the right method!

@fat3y it should, might be a bit slower, I haven't tried it on such a system, but I think it should take it. Look around some forums if you want, see if anyone else tried it on a machine like yours :)

quick question...i have a windows 7 home premium disk..but did the anytime upgrade to go to ultimate... can i still use my home premium disk to do this? and can you plllzzz respond i need to know thx an gr8 video :D

@Pinkano445 if the home premium disk is a fully working windows 7 disk, then it should work, although if you have ultimate at the moment, I'm not sure if u can repair your PC after installing osx with the home premium dvd, you'd have to have a windows ultimate dvd, or reinstall windows.

@jianh1989 well you're certainly right, in which case I'd have to conclude there isn't a iATKOS version of 10.6; hence I'd suggest looking for another version of snow leopard, (E.g. kalyway, iDeneb, etc.)

@warri0r13 as long as its not on the partition you're going to format, you shouldn't have any problems, keep your date on a separate partition ;)

helpp.atlast i got d resolutin 1440x900

i installed chameleon 3 over Chameleon 2 which put me baq to old resolution,i tout using osx86 tools resetting to factory settings wud fix problems but it only made it worse.black boxes appeard arround text boxes,icons etc.i did a reinstall,now its not loading,it just get stuk at apple logo,if i boot wid cpus=1 i get d loading bar but it never stops,now i cant even start d install.says could not start installer and gives me a error log.shuld i use ideneb??
