Did anyone else see the Houston not-postponed show? I seem to remember 3 opening explosions corresponding to Martin, Jeffrey, then Ian appearing onstage. I remember thinking "Ian playing a sax, not the flute?" (also, there is a sax part here on the album). But I could have created this "memory" after replaying the album countless times while stoned.
I saw the LA shows (a couple of nights before this Berkley show) and it was just like this. I have heard a bootleg from earlier in the tour and Ian plays the opening part on sax, wasn't as powerful to me though. As far as the explosions go, there were three in the opening of the 75 show.....So maybe thats what your thinking of.
I always thought this was the same as your "Jethro Tull Live 1973" but it's much improved, you have more videos in this one, excellent job putting them all together so tightly!! It looks real!
I saw this show twice. Wish we could see the ballerina opening movie again. Thanks for doing this.
