Just watching this video after having purchased the bare minerals starter kit... I wish I would have thought about laura mercier... BUT I'm using the original mineral powder and it does look good. gives you a very natural coverage and glow. best part is, they now have the sifters with their makeup!

FINALLY, someone who uses "my colors"...colors I love. I enjoyed this haul and have watched a few Laura Mercier Mineral reviews and mine is on the way (can't wait to use it). I hated Bare Minerals (got in all the lines, pores, etc.). I am 58 so I don't need to look older.

Love your lipstick choices as well as your taste in general.

@alyyk123 I wasted so much money on BE. The bismuth made my skin itch the minute I put on the foundation and I could never achieve the level of coverage I wanted without it looking dry and patchy. LM's mineral makeup is so much more superior in all aspects, really. BE is popular but it's definitely not meant for my skin =)

Can you make a comparison between mascaras? I think most people look for volume and thickness, but I like lengthening and clean lashes. I love the Shu Uemura because it looks so clean! I will try to do a mascara review and comparison probably in two or three months max. If you like length, try the Estee Lauder Turbo-Lash. It is amazing for lash separation and length!!

I own three MAC blushes: Cubic, Peaches, and Buff. I used to have a few more, including Melba, but I gave them to my twin sister. MAC blushes are lovely, especially the mattes. Some, like Well Dressed, could be more pigmented. NARS blushers have better pigmentation but I feel that MAC blushers have longer wear and are best for those who want buildable coverage, hence a more versatile range of color.
