  • @TheDizwon These guys' new album is free. Y U No like both?

  • I miss this Showbread....

  • I honestly see no point of a keyboard in this song.

  • Comment removed

  • @bluesmetalgrunge That's actually the synthesizer.

  • Love this song, and this video is a total seisure-inducer lol.

  • "If freedom frees the idiots I don't think I've been set free" Lol! As a non conformist, this song really fits my life.

  • i just descovered this band. and to be they are like the christian more musical version of green day. especialy wit the lyrics

  • muy bueno saludos desde uruguay!!!!!!!

  • @elihb777metal Uruguay = muy linda xD

  • @freedbeans jajaja que quisistes decir con muy linda??? jaja soy hombre por las dudas

  • I love the cat being on the keyboard at the end and Josh being like WHAT?! lol

  • LOVE <3

  • @snivage i agree

  • Josh Dies made funny faces the whole time. LOL

  • NewFan :D

    My fave Song so far

  • This band has done more for spreading the word than the church that kicked them out ever will hahaha, irony.

  • Showbread in general are amazing. They have songs for just about everybody and I'm amazed by these guys!

  • extremely similar to santeria by sublime....

  • @snivage No i think you mean extremely similar to other songs that use those four chords, not just sublime. Which is an incredible number.

  • thank God for showbread im so tired of all this "punk" stuff of today that's blood has been poisoned by pop.

  • man i really don't know anymore about Showbread. i grew up with them (listening to their music) since i was in eighth grade. Now my third year in college i feel they have formed into something else. I still support them and i love what they are and what they believe in, i love their motive for producing such rock that is raw, however the spark is no longer "there". it'd be nice to see them, wish they would come down to texas though.

  • i love how the drummer has 2 cymbals

  • Ehhhh, love Showbread, but not a huge fan of this song. Its not bad by any means, just sounds to generic for me. I liked their raw, unique sounds better. Reminds me of the bands that all sound the same. Still love them though!

    Raw Rock Kills.

  • don't know if im the only one...but i swear this song reminds of santeria

  • im going to see then tomorrow :D WOOO!

  • check out my vocal cover of Comatose by Skillet!

  • @MJLink01 they just have a somewhat punk sound you can't really define them that's what I like about raw rawk

  • @choirchick123frsakn that's exactly what makes it punk

  • KITTTTTTTEH

  • Gerard?

  • @GusMOfficialChannel lol exactly what i was thinkin

  • lol. Seeing them live made me lol. They were all wearing sleeveless small tees and looked ridiculous.

  • @Dawgmandede that's part of the showbread raw rock persona. with every album they have a uniform they wear.

  • That guitar solo at 2:05 just made the whole song for me.

  • Lyrically, this is one of my favorite songs of all time. Love it.

  • hahaha, i love his face at the end XD

  • What happened to their old style? Like that hardcore/metal mix?

This is good music, but it's not as original as their old style for sure.

  • @Followerofchirst1337 they change their sound with every album

  • @Followerofchirst1337 their old style had literally nothing in common with hardcore or metal, except screaming vocals and even their screaming was completely different.

  • So Drew was playing drums by this point? Ricky was the drummer before but Jordan Johnson recorded on the album... Awesome song anyway.

  • Ohhhh myyyy goshhhh favorite song ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wat album is this song in????

  • @Davorak945 the fear of God, its my personal favourite

  • they're christian right?

  • @dessythedemon142 they sure r...

  • @dessythedemon142 Yes but in most songs of theirs they point out faults in the ppl within the religion

  • @sausake15 They don't point out faults, they show the perspective of the people who aren't in the religion.

  • @fufufuyen Yes but with mouth like a magazine it talks about how people go to church every sunday and then are just horrible the rest of the week

  • does anyone else notice that the verses melodies are the exact same as Santeria by Sublime? haha.. great song tho!

  • @uberismyname i noticed that too!!!

  • @uberismyname i honestly noticed that the first time i heard it lol

  • ARE YOU SERIOUS? A STATE FARM AD IN THE MIDDLE!!!! OF THE VIDEO!?

  • predictable melody....wah but i fucking love it!

  • he looks slightly like vince noel

  • these guy are awesome i been dying for a band like this

  • why in the fuck is showbread on vevo

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @gilley432 this isnt there vevo its there records companys

  • love this song :)

  • LOL Josh is all like IT'S A CAT!!!! 3:43

  • @koechiaki777 LOL, that cracked me up. Best face ever.

  • :D i love that look at 3:42 hahaha CAT!

  • Drew. Porter. Raw. Rock. Kills.

  • he's really rocking the "line on face" look huh? haha these guys rock.

  • @freeofkings Haha yeah, like Marilyn Manson, but he works it better!

  • sounds like sateria kinda

  • I looked on the C&L website and... cant find them =P

    @loserforGod777

This song is the first song I hear whom you could compare with MCR...

(witch does not bother me because in my old 'n' hollow life I liked mcr, this one is way better because its not just pretty music ^-^)

Is the genre of this song tr00ly punkrock?

  • It sucks that we'll never have another No Sir. :(

  • what the hell happened to showbread? =(

  • @TheTOBster21 i think it was tooth and nail that changed them so much

  • @aftermath636 i don't think it was T&N. showbread has expressed time and time again that they are going in the direction that THEY want to go, and further, have written a number of songs expressing their disinterest both in sounding the same album to album, and in the fans that wish them to.

  • @hardcore039 Showbread had made jokes about Tooth & Nail making them change their sound but none were serious. I think their sound changing more some came from losing Tae and John Giddens. I loved Sir Nihilism and The Age of Reptiles but I respect bands that change their sound a lot.

  • @thousandfootkrutchro Every one of their CD's have been good. They have only made changes that sound good ^^.

  • @thousandfootkrutchro Two things... 1 TFK is incredible! Have you heard Mr Heat Miser by TFK? You should. 2 bands that change their sounds because they want to are respectible, but bands who change to fit in or become popular kinda suck.

  • @jsimpson07 Well yea of course if bands change their sound to fit in or make the money I lose respect for them. Bands like Showbread, Underoath, Becoming the Archetype, and Haste the Day have each tried new or different things within their music and I consider them some of my favorite bands and Yes I have heard that song from TFK it is sick.

  • @thousandfootkrutchro Yeah, those are all bands that deserve respect for their artisitc direction. So how did you like TFK's Welcome To The Masquerade?

  • @jsimpson07 It was better than the Flame in All of Us but still not the TFK I grew up with. I miss their old lead guitar player he was creative and gave them that awesome sound. They are still and excellent band but I have moved on from the being my favorite band but they will always be my first favorite band. I have been a fan since Set it Off. My favorite band now for 4 years has been Underoath but TFk was before them.

  • @thousandfootkrutchro Completely agree. The Art Of Breaking was ok, but lacking, and The Flame In All Of Us was ok, but their worst in my opinion. I do miss the uniqueness shown in Set It Off, as I too have been a fan since Set It Off. My fav band now is Demon Hunter, though Underoath is up there on my list too. Anyways, thanks for the conversating, God bless.

  • @jsimpson07 The Art of Breaking's guitar parts were brilliant but the album got kinda boring fast.

  • @thousandfootkrutchro Very true, I still listen to songs like Hit The Floor and Go, but it's not like Set It Off or Phenomenon in the way that I can't listen to it repetitevely.

  • @thousandfootkrutchro i'm not sure what you're saying. it sounds like you're telling me T&N didn't make them change, which is exactly what I said..I'm telling people that bitch about their ever changing sound that they are exactly the kind of people that Showbread directly speaks out against in songs like Shepherd, No Sheep. If you (I mean that as a disembodied you, not you directly) don't like the new direction, stop listening. Showbread is moving in the direction they are because they like it.

  • @hardcore039 I was more agreeing with you than arguing with you. I was backing up what you said that Tooth & Nail did not force them to change their sound. They have videos of them joking about it which some people took seriously.

  • @thousandfootkrutchro dude, john giddens had nothing to do with the band's sound. he didn't write the keyboard parts, and only recorded a few of the ones you hear on the albums. really all that "keytar" hype and credit should have gone to josh.

  • @nbfan John's keytar parts gave the band a more of a unique sound. If you can prove to me that John did not write the majority of the those parts than I Will believe you. Josh did great things with the band but I think their best line up was during Sir Nihilism and Age of Reptiles.

  • @thousandfootkrutchro I'll PM you a link to where Josh says what I said. Anyway, it's fine if you think that but I'm just saying everyone worships "that guy with the keytar" and he wasn't what totally made the band in that era.

  • @nbfan Tae was a huge part of it more than the keytar guy. I think it is because the keytar is rare in bands now a days. He was still a very talented guy.

  • whaaaat? Showbread is tooth&nail?!?

  • @CaSCHWANK they're not on tooth and nail anymore, they're on

    "Come&Live!"

  • cats do represent demons

  • this song is awesome! it sucks that ivory is gone, but showbread still raw rawks my sawks awff

  • whatever happened to the keytar???????

  • Haha pause it at 0:39

  • @golden1324 0:37 is funnier hahahaha

  • @golden1324 What's funny at 0:39?

  • @Dubster80

    I meant 0:37 xD

  • It just came to me that he's singing about his cat. This song makes so much more sense now. lol

  • I keep thinking Garrett's going to hit his head on the keyboard.

  • to whoever thumbsed down, god have mercy

  • One of their best videos.

I give it 2 thumbs up

    RAW ROCK KILLS!!

  • okay, so what happened to this band, like did they break up cause ive been told their videos are hella old

  • @puchimane nah bro they are still making videos, this one is brand new so is vehement, and lost connection with the head.

  • @puchimane They didn't, because I just saw them yesterday :D

  • @puchimane

No, Landon (long hair) left the band because he cut his hair and because he was moving to texas. The band still exists, its just not thriving like it used to.

  • landon is a great guitarist

  • Their so freaking underrated. I love this song :DD

  • @golden1324 i know!! i cant wait for their new album to come out =)

  • Comment removed

  • i just noticed how josh's right eye blinks more than the left

  • @Jondotcom777 that's just josh's crazy self. haha he probably figured it would make him look nuttier than he already is.

  • KEYBOARD CAT! xD

  • i miss tae :( it just isn't the same

  • looks like punk rock is still alive

  • @LoserForGod777 Raw Rock*

  • @LoserForGod777 Nah, Raw Rock. xD

  • @LoserForGod777 Who thought it died? THEY will be soon enough.

    lol jk jk

  • @LoserForGod777 -_- they never seen like punk rock to me <_<

  • @MJLink01 raw ROCK!!! :)

  • @LoserForGod777 Raw Rock

  • "Because the world is a lady with a veil for a face, but I'm tearing it away! 'cause she's got something to hide....." Awesome!!! Raw Rawk Killz!!!!

  • CAT ON A KEYBOARD!!!!

  • May Raw Rock Kill you forever and ever Amen!

  • it's me or this song sounds like Santeria, from Sublime? i'm not saying its a "copy"...

  • OMG. i love that this album is so amazing. its so experimental, yet they're still touching on their raw rock roots more so than Anorexia/Nervosa did. BRILLIANT, showbread. BRILLIANT.

  • actually, the only reason people said this song sounded like my chem, is because landon's style of playing is very similar to ray's.

  • So it seems showbread changes like every 6 months.... and i have to say its amazing every time.

  • @IIIBLAKEIII

    dude I must agree

its all good but old showbread is still the best

  • these guys are turning into my chemical romance. what happened to their old stuff like "stabbing art to death?" or even "mouth like a magazine?" ... disappointment. i hate their lineup changes that occur seemingly every year.

  • @MehsterChief well they did lose Tae, the sound seemingly changed with that... it's not that they're bad now though, different, but still good.

  • @MehsterChief Actually, My Chemical Romance rips off showbread. Showbread was going to tour with them or something like that, and they gave them their No Sir, Nihilism is Not Practical CD. They liked it and even went as far as to rip off their red jump-suit look. It's the other way 'round. It's just a more main-stream band isn't going to get all the crap for sounding like someone else.

  • @MehsterChief lol mehster chief, you make it sound like stabbing art, and mouth came from two different albums.

  • @WarriorOfWyrd hahah ya like that? those are really the only 2 songs i like by this band. but i hate seeing bands go from greatness to suck.

  • @WarriorOfWyrd they actually come from 2 different albums. life kisses and no sir

  • @elcochon but stabbing art is also on no sir

  • i love this song its so reading my mind

  • man i love this song so much. it's just so much fun.

  • I forgot to say, Josh Dies is my hero.

  • Gimme more Showbread!!

  • I love them so much.

  • I can't like these guys enough! and the makeup is just freaky enough to be extra special cool. Go Josh.

  • Lovelovelove My Heroes ! <3 ^-^ they're so amazing.

  • the cat was quite a surprise. LOL XD

  • They just left tooth and nail/solid state to record a new album and release it to the public for FREE.

  • WHOA, ARE YOU SERIOUS? When is it releasing and where can I get it?

  • @Rawk4Life sometime this year. They've given alot of updates on their myspace

  • They are playing at Soulfest this year. I can't wait!! always on the lookout for new rockin' christian bands=)

  • @buffyfreak579 showbreads been around for a little bit lol

  • @BreakingthesilenceTV -i mean they're new to me...

  • Yes!!!! Ahahahahahaha I watched that ending with the cat and his face like 10 times. Hahahahahahahahaha priceless

  • amazing amazing amazing! these guys never get old and never cease to amaze me with something new or interesting. i loooove this video too.

  • As a fan of music, I love how Showbread is always changing styles. It's fun.

Maybe it's because I'm roughly the same age as Josh and I grew up listening to all the stuff they emulate. Toadies, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson...

If you're trying to find your musical identity in Showbread, it's probably frustrating. But for the rest of us, it's a fun celebration of rock music.

  • I'm not afraid to die!!!!

  • i cant wait to hear some music from the theives guild, josh dies ( the lead singer of showbread) and reese roper's (of five iron frenzy, brave saint saturn, and roper) new band!!!!!!

  • They need to change that because there's already a band called The Thieves Guild from Maryland who formed 6 months ago.

  • @Rawk4Life reese and josh's thieves guild started about a year and a half ago...

  • I hope they get a Myspace up very soon then.

  • oh my god this was amazing. showbread will always blow my mind :D

  • like their old stuff better, this sounds to much like MCR

  • Listen to the rest of the album. Showbread definitely does not sound like MCR.

  • It's a good thing too , I can't stand MCR.

  • lol 3:42 random cat ftw! rock on showbread!

  • I actually got my radio station in Savannah, GA to play this song and Lost Connection With The Head before. It was amazing :D

  • DAAH fricken amazing!

    love showbread

  • i don't see the big deal to them changing

they sound amazing with everything. and one thing they haven't changed is their message :)

  • here's the deal people showbread prides themselves on always changing and never staying the same and that's good because if not they would basically re-write all there albums and the reason they don't have everyone the use to is because tooth and nail told them they had to get less screamy or they would drop them it's not their fault that they aren't the same as they use to be

  • @elodious94 where in the world are you getting this "tooth and nail told them they had to get less screamy or they would drop them" nonsense?

  • They said it in a interview, but its nothing to be serious about because they are never serious. They are the goofiest band to interview.

  • it was in all sorts of interviews they did you can find that or something similar in at least 3 interview videos
