Goku is quite taller than Vegeta, yet they were able to fuse. So two did Kibito and Kai. Plus, it happened in the sequel, so why not here?

Kibito and kai had those ear rings, and Goku and Vegeta's fused only in the movie that wasent cannon and again in the non-cannon GT series and gogeta never apperead in the manga, the only cannon fusion betwean goku and vegeta was with the ear rings, witch is diffrent than the fusion dance. So if Yamcha and Tien for whatever reason decided to use the fusion ear rings than yeah I guess tiencha could of been born :P

That is all correct, but if two people of similar height (Goten and Trunks) can fuse, then there is no reason Tien and Yamcha cannot do the same, so long as their power levels are even when they do it.

As good as this what-if is, I was a bit disappointed. I expected something more like Hercule's mode, where he picks off the Z-fighters one by one, not some dream sequence where he ends up losing.

Cell is apparantly the most patient villian i've ever seen, waiting 10 days straight just chillin' on the center of the ring, while on the otherhand Super Buu just explodes after 30 minutes of waiting lol

Cell probably can dream even in the manga and anime, becuase he's a Bio created Android. Basically I view him as a Cyborg, but still very well a living being just with some robotic parts in the mix like #17 and #18, only Cell has nearly all the Z-fighters DNA.
