I'd be much much funnier if HDD plates crashed. With that rotational speed - flying daggers... and one should hit you at least in one eye. Maybe next time you'll use your brain.
Fucking time waister some of us have a problem that really needs fixing n' we need help. N' here u show how boring ur life is; no life, no woman just ur right hand n' Vaseline
OMG. I just picked myself off the floor-changed my shorts. Ribs still hurt like hell. Laughed my @&# off. Best video on subject, to date. Was in a bad mood because my HD went SOUTH. This vid helps the mood not my HD. sincere thanks.
You should consider going into business I bet loads of people have clicking HDDs and would pay for such a reliable service - but really it was most amusing you should produce a series of vids on how to fix other stuff too
I'm trying to move all my files to my other hdds. Had this one only a few months from BestBuy... hoping they will take it back. If not I'll follow your vid up with a grand 'splosion!
Or a flathead screwdriver and my teeth c: Lol I got a set of screwdrivers but the torxes were all too big, so I kept fiddling around with it until I realized if I jammed a flathead in there and used my mouth instead of my hands, I could loosen enough to unscrew it.
My HD was making a clicking for about then minutes but now it is quiet again. I don't know much about this stuff likes most people here. Who can help me out?

@blueovalfan23 Thank you for the advice. I made a backup. But is there really no other explanation for my HD making that sound. It did it only once, and never again after that.
@jorisewout i wouldn't worry about it much if it's working fine now. i have a seagate 1.5 tb free agant that clicks occationally but it has proven reliable in the 9+ monthes i've had it. who knows why they do that in the begining. how old is the drive anyway? you might wanna see if it fails a test program from the manufacturer and maybe rma it before it leaves you s.o.l.
It's about three weeks old, a Hitachi 350GB 7200rpm inside my lenovo laptop. I really hope it was just a onetime thing. But am going to check out one of these test programs you mentioned, if I can find it.
