  • awesome

  • Hahahaha.. That was very useful indeed!!!!!

  • Well, it's stopped now...

  • Can I do this without involving a screwdriver? I don't have one that tiny.

  • @hamstergirl591 You need a Torx driver to get in to them

  • @alistairstuart2009

Or a flathead screwdriver and my teeth c: Lol I got a set of screwdrivers but the torxes were all too big, so I kept fiddling around with it until I realized if I jammed a flathead in there and used my mouth instead of my hands, I could loosen enough to unscrew it.

    My HDD's still dead ; ;

  • I have two hdd's on the wall they look amazing but I'll know what to do with the 3rd clicking one when it will show up :)) LOL . nice vid.

  • classic!!!

  • as an IT guy myself this hurt my soul a little bit, but I must say, that sound it made is pretty rad

  • This method also works great when someone refuses to pay back the money they owe you.

  • nice playing cards

  • worked for me, 9/23/11!

  • How simple, and to the point can one be?!

  • Yes this is a very good old technique that many use in a daily basis.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA START VERY SERIOUS JOB BUT INSIDE MY WAIT FOR SOME END LIKE THAT LOL

  • My HD was making a clicking for about then minutes but now it is quiet again. I don't know much about this stuff likes most people here. Who can help me out?

  • @jorisewout take a fool's advice and back up your data when you can. clicking is a sign of the hdd going bad most of the time. you seen the arm jumping on this video. it's having trouble operating. i've seen people swap the board but it's not full proof. besides that, for almost the same money you can order one from your favorite online retailer (tigerdirect/newegg)

  • @blueovalfan23 Thank you for the advice. I made a backup. But is there really no other explanation for my HD making that sound. It did it only once, and never again after that.

  • @jorisewout i wouldn't worry about it much if it's working fine now. i have a seagate 1.5 tb free agant that clicks occationally but it has proven reliable in the 9+ monthes i've had it. who knows why they do that in the begining. how old is the drive anyway? you might wanna see if it fails a test program from the manufacturer and maybe rma it before it leaves you s.o.l.

  • @blueovalfan23

It's about three weeks old, a Hitachi 350GB 7200rpm inside my lenovo laptop. I really hope it was just a onetime thing. But am going to check out one of these test programs you mentioned, if I can find it.

  • @jorisewout there should be something on hitachi's website. my cousin just rmaed a 1tb that was like 1 year old. wouldn't even spin up. good luck with it. even if it passes i would watch it very closely and contact them at the drop of a hat the first sign of failure. you're prolly ok for now though.

  • thanks... that works for me lmao

  • That was awesome - I was hoping to find a fix! Thanks!

  • i dont know why you guys are so mad... it stopped didn't it? lmao

  • phucking hilarious..... i was looking for a serions answer obviously but that was bloody brilliant.. haven't laughed that hard in months.. thanks :)

  • does this work for any harddrive ?

  • ass

  • oh just watched all the video.......
