That's where my father started his research career as a physicist/ballistics specialist in 1950. It's his generation that has contributed so much to the scientific progress of our nation. From the defence research laboratories at the Metcalfe House, sprang the BARC, ISRO, HAL, DMRL etc. Salutations to you, o father for your services to my motherland. Jai Hind.

Good research about our chief scientists. For all the curses we give our politicians some like Minister Arjun Singh was the silent diligent performer during the 80's; surprisingly I did not see any mention of KC Pant one of the chief political architects of the 'laughing buddha' in 1974.
