  • is that gameboy being controlled???/..... VIA MIDI!?!??!

  • @1787dude no MIDI, it's just running software sequencer LSDJ.

  • @DeadBeatBlast its still pretty awesome. I'm trying to get a c64 setup going.

  • wowzers

  • Its when I see things like this that I realise how much of a n00b I still am. I hope you get regular gigs with this setup and talent!

  • @conquerearth hehe, ya i have gigs... have a real awesome one next month with sabrepulse and fighter x!

  • I saw this video some times, and I was wondering: How do you use the keyboard with the sound of lsdj without any arduinoboy connected with the gameboy? Sorry for the stupid question :S

  • @ChezWearsVans the keyboard is just playing some square waves, it's not hooked up to the GameBoy at all. I have a midi-gb unit made by low-gain for midi syncing etc, but rarely use it. Lately i just sync gameboy by ear and record it into FLStudio.

  • What da hell?

This is more than amazing, the drop killed me, AMAGING use of LSDJ, expecially the wav channel, this remind me talking bass from IAYD with a lot of influence from Fighter X. Absolute Amazing.

  • @ChezWearsVans dahahaha, thanks... although this is a couple years old now... search DEADBEATBLAST SINISTAR and see if you can find that song, i think it's up on 8BC.org

  • @DeadBeatBlast nice work man, you really know how to use lsdj. ;)

  • I really like the color scheme of your gameboy, did you paint it yourself and if so, what kind of paint did you use?

  • @TheMitchMonster ,Krylon brand plastic paint, typically used for stuff like plastic lawn furniture... I recommend testing out the paint job on a plastic bottle first, especially when layering colors... And allow as much drying time between coats as possible. Then I use a spray on clear coat to protect it. Model paints from a hobby shop would probably be better though.

  • @DeadBeatBlast Thanks a lot mann, awesome tunes btw :D

  • ROCKING DUDE!

  • dude you came into my jazz class, i met you too. youre fucking awesome keep it up

  • @TeaBaggins hey thanks! yeah, jazz class was fun stuff. Nice that they had a projector there. Btw, that guitar on your profile pic, is it ESP? looks sick.

  • yeah thats right .

    its an esp alexi 600

  • @TeaBaggins hmmmm... I'll bet that thing shreds like butter. I've got a Rhoads Jackson, but cheaper model.

  • like your mario figures lol :D

  • awesome.

  • That is impressive man

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!

  • This is just amazing. Please I would really love to know, how did you get the gameboy sound coming from the keyboard, like did you build a convertor or buy one, and if you bought it, whats it called, thanks alot. :)

  • hey, that sound is just some plain square wave synth on my Korg micro x. if you want to actually hook a keyboard to your gameboy try searching firestarter midi. or if on ebay try low gain midi. he builds a sweet one.

  • aewsome!

Where did you get your gameboy?

  • I painted it and audio mod myself...

  • that was fucking epic!

    nice gameboy ! =+_+=
