  • I have a 4K and I can make a better beat running 3 days with no sleep...This beat is Basic as fuck...Kinda clean tho when you think about it back in the time that this video was made but compared to today what I see people doing with MPC's this nigga would have to step his game way up.

  • Sup with all the hate those who say this is nothing special go make something better then post it on youtube for everybody to criticise. This coming from a hip hop producer who knows how hard it is to make dope beats

  • Did he have all that on four tracks not good for mixing

  • Not Feeling This at All. The Thing About These Beat Making Videos Is That There is Nobody Singing or Rapping In The End.

  • He gives the mpc a good name the guy is pretty good!!! i have to big him up yes

  • @ 6:35 that shit got raw az fuck man, keep it up bro.

  • MPC heads follow me on Twitter @IAmHitzville

  • this song is sooooo good .. WHAT THEY WANT?

  • 8:00-8:23 looks like a mop wiping the floor

  • Boring

  • @Baaaammmmmmm is dat Lil Jon?

  • seriously why cats need to comment with nothing special. evidently it was special enough for you to watch the entire video. believe me i don't know rawbeatzz and never hear of him until this video but i do respect him a producer going after his dream. keep grinding raw and to the rest of you i wish nothing but the best. but seriously a lil more encouragement is better than downplay

  • Using a $3000 Motif and a $1500 MPC to make that nonsense is like using an aircraft carrier to go bass fishing.

  • @yourlastfoe

lol, I think the rest of the studio is worth a bit more than the mpc n motif. lol...

it's not an amazing beat straight outta the MPC n motif, but once it's mixed down proper and through mastering i'm sure it'll sound nice and warm, and also due it's simplicity some MC would love to mc over it.

This isnt' my cup of tea either, but then again I think almost all hip hop isn't that special.

  • looks kinda like lil jon with his hair haha

  • tak tak whack...

  • midgets dancing in circles........lmao!!!!!!

  • how to make a dirty south beat

  • The Motif has a sequencer on board as well right?

  • @InnerflamesUnLtd yes it does

  • jezzy could spit on this

  • nice work.. a yo does your hair help keep time? lol yo its funny but a real question. i tap my heel and swing my knee when i scratch.. kinda like a "sting" move.. chea good ish mang

  • you bad ass mother fucker.

    nice work

  • does it help to work in double time?

    give u tha groove?

  • yo dose any one know how he dose that snar drop that shit is dope!

  • u do it on the mpc,

hold note repeat while holdin a pad,

u can change the rate on how fast it goes too,

  • your dumb how dont u know how its like making the snare of a song but on the drop

  • When the flute comes in at the end it makes me think of midgets dancing in circles

  • You guys might call it cheesy but he's making money, man, look at that blingz.lol

  • where you get dem drums frum

  • how did he get those 808s

  • nice job!!

  • yo that is nic. peep my page out and listen to my beats. it's me and my big brother on there so peep em out. rate and comment.

  • rawbeats is a problem

  • sounds like every other amateur beat on youtube. cheeeeesy.

  • to bad he's a real producer making real moves with some of the hottest artist out right now and some youtube dumb fuck talking shit...hmmm..so go run that shit on some 32 year old making beats at his moms house.

  • yeah nice work dude , boom :D

  • aight, just three words for ya : you have skills.

    mad respect!

    peace Royalist

  • Shit is crazy fam. much respect, young. Deuce up ~J~ G.C.

  • Keep doing your thing brother man.. And tell all of those faggot motherfucker's who enjoy hating on the internet to eat a dick.. Them and thier fucking momma's.. Peace.

  • wonder how much that stupidly over blinged watch cost?

  • It costs 10,000 poser points.

  • im not overly excited about this video... i have a motif xs and i always try to steer away from this type of sound, which can sometimes be hard to do cause its ALL thats on the radio and its very easy to make a track like this, where there is not much melodic swing to it

  • yeah but also you suck

  • yeah but also you suck dick

  • hahahah what do we have here fake lil jon lol but i like it hes good

  • this dude another lil jon haha

  • ma son went in

  • Nothing special

  • @hrdtxs i feel the same way man nothin special at all...

  • @hrdtxs the keys was dope tho..will give it to him

  • Im a producer myself, I use Reason, I can fuck with the MPC's a lil bit...personally this beat doesnt do it for me, being a artist myself...This beat doesnt do it for me, dont get me wrong its tight how he put it together but I feel it wouldnt showcase my talents...from a producer standpoint the beat is tight but it doesnt do it for me, I dont feel it

  • well for this beats you should reaon or fl studio, cause this is a waste of money, mpc,s motiffs should be played with soul, this sounds like cheap beats from reason or fl studio,i made this type beats almost 10 years ago when i started producing lol, cause it was the easiest style

  • i agree wit you... it is a waste. I do like the beat cuz its where i started from. but u really don't need a mpc for this. You can crank beats out from FL studio like this all day. thats wat i do. and you really don't need a midi controller

  • if FL wasnt so basic ppl would use it!

but again PEOPLE USE THE MPC BECAUSE OF THE SWING!!! nobody or anythin else can get that decent swing! thats why Akai Mpcs are still around!!

  • mv baby!!!

  • wait wait, let me get this straight...this beat doesn't do it for you? hahah repitition is annoying

  • ehhhh

    it ok i guess

  • I sold my MPC 2000xl and I jest think about to bay MPC 4000 is that good investment because I did not experience akai MPC 4000

Someone perhaps get some tips for me thank you

  • dame dat nigga git tin crunk

  • couldnt have said it better myself

  • nice work

  • fire fire

  • this nigga is fuckin hard

  • go get that oooooolllllllllld chicken talk mixtape by gucci dis dude got a bunch of tracks on there

  • fucking sick vid my nigga, yu keep dis shit up yu hear, u got talent

  • Brilliant! nice beats!

  • this is nice

  • Actual that's tight , I would of used a heaver or bassier kick but over all that is something to ride to pimpin! keep it gutta!

  • this crunk-like beats sounds all the same shit...

  • Dude I read every fuckin' comments on this video and yours just KILLS. You might be the only one i agree with !

  • apreciate that but that's the truth. they all sound the same shit!

  • lol.

  • at first i didnt kno were u were goin wit this cuz it was kinda sounded like everybody elses beats... but ur vicious wit thos piano's im feelin this

  • "hater", or just realizing how pathetic this is. all that money and time into... well nothing. it's really pretty embarrassing

  • yo keep it up haters will make you stronger your beats are just as strong or stronger than those in the industry. they can only get better. wat up ATL way of 407 ORANGE COUNTY

  • yo this beat is sickk

i gotta know where u get those automatic snare and hihat rolls

if anybody know MSG ME A.S.A.P.!

    1 love

  • Those arent automatic hats and snares. Thats a function of all Akai MPC's. Its a note roll function. You can set it to either 1/64, 1/32, 1/16, 1/4 note patterns.

It can be done in reason 4 also using the RPG8 and a Re-Drum.

  • note repeat

  • just push 'roll' on the MPC4000 and voila ....roll,goes allong with your tempo its so eazy

doesnt take great skillzz (got 1 myself)

check JEL thats a real mpc king

  • shut up bitch who asked you?? does it look like he needs ur help u fuckin lame?....u cant top this guy so go fuck urself

  • well it was an answer 2 someone question on how 2 roll...

but your right i cant top this pathetic eazy button pushing

after 23 years making music and producing 150 records im way better then that ;)

    who's the bitch now?

  • sure and thats the reason ur "broke" ass is sittin on ur fat pathetic ass browsing youtube videos hating on this guys talent cuz ur so much better, find something better to do with ur worthless time...until then, slap urself u dipshit

  • where was the part i hated it ??

    i explained something 2 some1 else(not you)

that the roll function goes along with the tempo real time (yes that's eazy)

and u had 2 interfere and whine about that

    that's your problem..

and i can sit on my ass, make music all day cause i never have 2 work anymore if i want 2

so please go fistfuck yourself :p

  • damn dude 23 years and only 150 records? i been in this 4 years and already done about 45. jeez step ur work ethic up

  • step up my work? i only release E.P.s

so multiply that by 4,did some albums & CDs 2

if i would make simple crap beats like yours

in 5min on a single device,

i would have done 40 records in 4 years 2...

try that when you are 300 days a year on tour

    its about Quality not quantity

  • dude im a producer, not an artist. you just said you producer 150 records in 23 years. thats not alot. if ur an artist recording records thats different. but if your producing records u should litterally have 100's upon hundreds of actual beats made.

  • well ok

    an artist/DJ/producer,also VJ

ofcourse,i made 1000s of trax but i only release the best of them, i started in a time when the average synth was $12.000 and midi wasnt invented yet,so no record deals there

(sorry was not trying 2 dis u,but make a beat put 1jazz sample over it is not really a finished track or hard 2 do is it?)

    i did post 2 vids

but i didnt want 2 do another tutorial vid, there is enough of that

besides i dont need tube 2become(more)famous

    i like being underground

  • no i took the sample, pitched it down, filtered it and added effects and chopped it up. then added bases and drums. just looping a sample is wack. my point is as an artist or producer, you cant dis other peoples music and not show and prove. thats like dissing an athlete and saying u can do better but u have no record. if u are dissing his music and saying it isnt deep or whatever. because frankly the track on ur page isnt to imaginative either.

  • if u arent using u tube as a forum to promote ur music, then dont diss someone else who is displaying their skill and accomplishments instead of just talking about it

  • thats what Tube is al about, to comment and rate them,if you only expect positive reactions(i dont) then dont post them

personaly i value a producers opinion more then an un objective opinion from a mainstream dude (good or bad i dont care)

i only post mine because people asked me 2

when i used them 4 my live performances,

not 2 boost my ego, or get compliments

  • no, a fan or a listener can give a fans opinion. he isnt comparin the artist work to work he has done. however an artist can give tips or pointers, but he cannot criticize someones work legitimately and then bring up his career but have nothing to show for it. thats called being objective. if a fan gives a positive or negative u can know he's giving just an opinion. an artist comparing his work to urs or vice versa but has nothing to show isnt giving an opinion. ''hating''

  • again i wasnt hating, the only thing i said that 2me JEL is 1 of the the real MPC kings

not all those 1button pushers(in general)

on Tube who upload there crap vid

the 1st day they bought an MPC

and people where offended by that,

and felt like bitchin on that all the time

    thats there problem not mine

my 1st comment didnt have anything to do with my work as an artist or my opinion on this guy's vid...well im done here

  • yeah and secondly where is your music at? if you made 150 records u should be allowed to post at least a couple of em. u feel my music is crap but i put it up now dont I?

its almost 09 grandpa, put up or shutup. ur in dudes video dissing his work ethic and quality but u have nothing showing u as an artist is better

  • yo g that beat is sick ... nuff respect

    safe

    JNRlisgo

  • not hating but it was better when you didnt put so much in it... around 6 mins

  • Agreed.

The orchestra riff was almost sounding like a sample from an old record. Then all the additional synth parts just made the mix all muddy. Funny that the final mix sounds so flat compared to studio camera recording! =) lol

  • the way he usese his mpc is tha ish ima have to get one asap

  • what kind of yamaha keyboard is that?

  • looks like a motif es 8

  • "Yo, we on the 4000 today, because eey today's tuesday." Wtf? Hahaha! Okey, I know he didn't exactly say that sht, but still... Cool beat.

  • I love the way he plays those MPC's. Style! Something you can't buy!

  • that beat is fuckin crazy bananas hot...people who just listen to music and don't make it wouldnt understand, that an SSL board is worth every penny its listed as. If you think you can take reason, Fl studio, adobe whatever and compare it to a beat run thru an ssl ur mistaken. Patchwerks is big time and Im sure every penny it costs is a penny well spent.

  • nice, nice man

    i like it

  • This nigga knows how to make a nice beat!

  • sample free beat that where the money at baby

  • The Sudio is Pacthwerks Recording Studio and get this. He's in the "B" room. They have upgrading it over the last few months but only with a SSL Duality console. Not like their "A" room which has the 96 channel SSL J9000 console. The room that he is is cost about 150.00 per hour. So don't believe everything some people say because they want you to think the are paying more than what the really are. It's a nice room. I have recorded many artist in that room as well.

  • They have more rooms there on Hemphill Ave, but this for sure ain't the 'B' room either.

  • No that is the "B" Room. It has been remodeled and retrofitted with the new SSL Duality console and Genelec 1035A loudspeaker monitors. I was just there 5/23-26/08 doing records (cutting vocals) with R&B artist Joe and a few records I produced for new rap group, the BlocStarz. It's the "B" room called Studio 995.

  • Well, I was there and never saw that group you are talking about.

  • maquina dos sonhos!

  • Dude really that studio costs 1mill to work in!? I mean his beat is ok... not all that but kinda in the middle I give him props but I saw this dude cook a hit up in his house studio waaaaaay better than this one.

(beat is still good to me)

  • that's too much equipment to be that lame.

  • haha i agree man, hes not terrible but to be in a million dollar studio and do shit like that, fuck that

  • ya im yet to see someone put that 4000 to work. he could do any of that with the lower models, its not getttin gtoo complex

  • yea i could do that on my 2000xl, hell you could do that shit on an mpc 1000 its simple shit the 4000 is overkill

  • look at the view on 5:09 this dude is rich

  • nah thats patch work studios hes just there making a beat, im preety sure its in georgia alot of famous people record there and shit pac even recorded there

  • haha thanks for the info

  • no problem, yea theres a video on here about it, that mixing boared cost like 1 million it said and shit

  • DAMN! fuck dat

  • haha yea, u can make music just as good in a home studio joint, i prefer the older and underground shit too so yea fuck payin for a big mixin boared like that i dont even know how u can have that many tracks of audio

  • hell yea i use reason 3.0 and magix and adobe audition so i straight

  • rnb/soul tracks

  • lord, a million??? ya thats an outlandish waste of money

  • its never a waste of money when you music production hardware or instruments

  • if you dont have any ear training, musical taste and ingeniering knowledge, even with all the money of the world youre goin to sound like a cheap casio child synth so its a millionaire waste off money

  • I'm with you on that

  • fuck that shit, it doesn't cost 1 million dollars, I've been there. It's more like a grand for an hour of recording time...

  • It's in Atlanta, Los Angeles...

  • lil john beat makeing hahaha

  • sorry.. that Arrangement is cheap. cant listen the strings..argh

    want my min. back

  • yo u bitch ass mother freaker lol that beat is off the fucking hook.. keep it up.... fireee.
