Beautifully sung. I saw this production and will never forget it! There was much spectacle in the production, but this music is so sublime that any need for visual stimuli is minimal.

having been one of the few who saw this production live in SF in 1989, twice... it is nice to know it is available on dvd. btw Gabriella is also a wonderful, modest person...met her back stage and she was delightful.
