I think this is a terrible version.... It has good intentions, but I do think this is one of those Beatles songs that cannot be covered unless it's COMPLETELY reworked...and it's not. Jakob's voice does not do this song justice. Sorry, Wallflowers.

I was shocked at the poor quality of this cover. The original managed to be both haunting yet passionate and melodic. This sounds like a karaoke throw-together down at my local by a bad tribute act.

I was ready to give this a go but, i mean, it adds nothing and takes away so much.

There are people that actually prefer this? I could forgive someone liking this, bad taste is a difficult thing for them to have to live with.

Preferring this, however should be considered treason. I demand justice!

I love the Wallflowers and the Beatles but the Beatles version DESTROYS the Wallflowers version...and its not simply because they did it first.

Dylan isn't good at singing this kinda song; he doesn't have the range to pull it off like Paul does. The whole song sounds subdued by comparison and its how alive and vibrant the Beatles version is that I like about the song.

I love "I Am Sam", and The Beatles. I think most of the song covers in that movie- including this one- aren't particularly unique, but enjoyable and of better-than-average quality. If the artists doing the covers went too far off the beaten path, it might have distracted people from the movie, so not-too-unique isn't bad.

That being said, the cover of "Two Of Us" in the movie is a little more different, and that's my favorite. :-)
