A "massive hype gone wrong?" Seriously? I don't think B&W was gone wrong at all really.

It is very entertaining to play, and with the 2 patches there aren't really THAT many bugs in it, at least not game breaking ones.

I enjoy B&W1 more than B&W2...they are so totally different. I enjoy messing around with the creature in 1, in 2 the creature aspect is just so dumbed down and not fun.

Was a great game for it's time. Just lacked depth, the game is also very hard.

I honestly can't see how any normal person could complete it. You really have to understand how creatures work and a few sneaky tricks to complete this game.

That to me is it's problem. It is very similar to populous which to me is a slightly better and much more fun game.

i liked the first one better then the second one because u had the skrimish games....the second one is too short and ez in my opinion i beat it in 2 days...while the first one it took me a month....i liked the army idea for the second one and if they would rm the first one and put the army idea in it...it would be the best game in the universe..

First game was fun, but it was easy to realize that there wasn't anything else to it. Most people just ended up playing in sandbox maps, screwing around with the creature and trying to make it big.

i like this game.. but coudn't get futher with it :P after youve get your creture outa the 3 pillars and get into the portal back to the beginning land the toher 3 things start shooting fireballs to my village x_x i have no idea what to do agianst it besides a shield, but that wont last long either.. the villagers stop believing in me and then i lost XD

i agree that number 1 was more fun, but the idea of making number 2 less god based was a decision because as time progressed the people believed in gods less and technology more and therefore it caused less gods to exist, also you defeat all of the main gods in b&w1 so their ain't many left anyway

I disagree...I believe the original black and white game is ORGASMIC. it has the more 'god' feel to it, while black and white 2 you feel like your playing an RTS game, its your preference, but black and white 1, has that whole 'GOD' feel to it, and it owns.
