I got the chance to play with this band about 2 years ago, they were amazing...just as good as any band youll ever see live and their vocalist Tom chilled with me after, great guy and he told me about how he used to be in involved in some reallly rough stuff and got clean and saved, it was a really inspiring story from a real genuine dude
i don't hate them because of being christian, but you have to admit that the lyrics are pathetic. I could come up with thousands of ways of conveying a 'christian message' in a more subtle manner.
I don't think there's supposed to be anything "subtle" about it. Yeah, the lyrics are incredibly straight-forward and there's not much poetry and imagination involved, but they're laying it out exactly how they feel and I think we should applaud them for it. Not many bands have the balls to come straight out and say things like this. Like the message or not, they say what they mean.

Also The Gospelsare known as individual testimonies which are NON contradicting because the core teachings are all the same although have some variation.
