  • cool

  • Hi Surie,

I haven't purchased a lot of 'branded' embossing powders, so I wouldn't be able to advise you sorry. I have tried the American Crafts one. It's okay.

Otherwise - I would recomend using a heat gun. I used a blow dryer, but I think it warps the cardstock too much. And a heat gun is sooo much quicker...haha (:

    Thanks! - Savannah (:

  • Nice (:

  • Wonderful card!

  • that is such a cute card. Thanks for making all the tutorials. I have been having a rough time of it lately. I love watching craft videos, especially cards. For some reason watching people make crafts helps ease the pain for a little while. so thank you so much. and keep up the good work.

  • I'm glad I helped - even a tiny bit. xx - Best wishes

    Savannah

  • what a cute card!! I like those stamps the font is very cute!

  • Really cute card. Here is a tip about embossing rub a dryer sheet on the cardstock before you use the versa mark it helps so there is no unwanted embossing powder sticking to the cardstock.

  • Gorgeous card Savannah! A tip on the warping cardstock. Make sure your heat gun is hot before you emboss, don't go too close to the cardstock, and when you are finished embossing the front, heat the back of the card. And Ginger was right too.. roll the cardstock if you are still having trouble while the cardstock is still warm ;) Hope that helps you!

  • Thanks (: Some cardstock warps more than others and it's SO ANNOYING. Lol

  • hey Savannah, if you roll the card stock from left to right and back a few times (like a wave)...it usually helps the card stock "unwarp" (lol, i know, i don't think that's a word)

    cute card!!! :)

  • Thanks. (:

  • I really like your card. I do have a question were do you get dark colored foam dots? I have not seen them before.

  • Yeah - I had'ent seen them untill I bought them.

    It's a New Zealand brand.

  • cute card! love the letters :)
