I think it's freak show circus nonsense most of this stuff.

Chair shots, tables etc. is cool and is usefull but all that barbed wire, fire, glas crap is just idiotic and sad. Watch UFC for violence and pain, But on the other hand it's the wrestlers own fault for pushing the envelope to laughable degrees. Where it's just violent to be violent. No psychology other than: "Wow that must hurt!" Well duh..

I am actually glad that this era of professional wrestling is ending, at least on the grand stage. There will still be "deathmatches" and hardcore divisions in areas of the industry but to think that people have to destroy themselves like this just to get noticed is disturbing. It is an era that many will look on with fondness but it needed to end for the business to continue and evolve.
