You had arab land owners who were living in damascus and had no issues with selling it to jewish settlers because usally they were paid double what it was worth. The problem came when well you have people living on those lands as tenants and we go from there.

Actually, Jews originally settled in Hebron in 1800s, but were evacuated just before the UN Partition Plan of 1947 because of constant violence (including the massacre you're referring to). Jewish settlers returned to Hebron only after the Israeli occupation of 1967 under leadership of Rabbi Moshe Levinger. After many violent incidents, the Israeli gov't resettled them to the Kiryat Arba military base (outside Hebron). The settlers returned under the leadership of Levinger's wife.

the problem is why can't you guys just coexist peacefully. The solution is right in front of you, yet the people don't ally themselves with each other, and just follows one side or another like its a game, and it isn't a game.
