how bad was your lag before you downgraded your drive was it just when you got around people or was it just lagging all the time and got even worse arround people because mine is bad all the time and gets worse and i have the minumum requirements and everything i dont understand i even have gameboosters i almost know that its not my pc but i cant be to sure
Actually I had stutter, and I'm using 32-bit XP SP3. But hey, installing those older drivers fixed the problem! :D Gameplay is smoother and I get far fewer freezes and crashes than before. I have 7900GT, so maybe installing latest and greatest drivers generally isn't a good idea for older cards? Also, sometimes fast travel fixes the stutter. F*ck knows what causes it, my guess it's critters stuck inside terrain somewhere.
Just to confirm this does work, I did it and it runs smooth now. I can't believe I never tried this I tried every other fix lol, it's weird how nvidia can manage to make drivers worse by updating them because it's obviously not just the game when it runs perfectly now.
Don't know what you're talking about, might be from fraps, it runs smoother than a baby's ass! I've had numerous people who already msgd me saying it works for them. Maybe you have an older nvidia card or an ati?

Win7 any version. XP doesn't need a fix to begin with since there's no stuttering.
