I have an old live bootleg of Machine Gun (The best one!) and your demo is closer to it than the album version. You really completed my trip, Andy. Thank you.
last riff if anyone is wondering, here are the notes: A#, c, d, g, A# A#..., g, and on, then some screwing around with those notes, then the chords he play are G chord and C chord. just the basics here guys, did this by ear in like 2 minutes so if its off dont get mad
Just bought this pedal. Immediatly figured out some Robin Trauer bridge of sighs, just from memory. This pedal literally gave me chills. so bada**! Where do I click 'LIKE' at?
uhm sorry to ask this bu t I am quite a noob with fx pedals and I'm not an english speaker so I missed a thing: how do you set the speed of the effect? by pressing and depressing the upper part of the pedal like you would do with a standard wah?
thanks! your videos are the reason why I have little social life (damn you!)
Love the univibe sound, but as it has a vibrato switch, can it also do a convincing fulltone supa-trem impression? Would save me money if it did both :)
Own it, beautiful pedal, impeccable tone, gorgeous design, every second pedal oversuses the 'built like a tank' phrase, however this pedal could probably have a car drive over it and sustain minimal damage.
I wonder if there is any difference at all between this and the non-treadle version - both have the same speeds? I think I may like the latter version as it is able to be set to a specific speed ahead of time.
@noslen1968 the circuits are exactly the same, just one has the foot treadle. This one would be better if you want to be constantly adjusting the speed to give some different effects to various notes. Zakk Wylde does that with his Dunlop Rotovibe,
I had the dunlop this one sounds better gas is coming. I checked out the pickle but this might be the one.
I rarely buy anymore unless I really dig it. This dejavibe and the lovepedal provalve 2 would be a sweet combo for now.
The fender hotrod deluxe's tonality in the OD range is kinda bizar. After playing a tiny terror and modded marshalls from the 70s it falls short of grail tone.
I demo'd it in the shop and it had that big spoon stirring lava sound that I love in Trower and Hendrix.
the pedal was super smoothe. can't wait to get my hands on it and plug into my also newly ordered Octavio and Dunlop JH-1B wah. you only go around once so what the hell, I love this kind of sound.
So I have a question. I'm a guitarist and am looking into using vibe pedals. I mainly play with humbucker guitars and I hear from many that a vibe won't work with a humbucker equipped guitar. I want to know is this true or just pruist drivel? Do I have to use a Strat or not? Also, would it work if my guitar were installed with a coil tap so I can switch between the two and not have to worry about switching guitars? Any help is appreciated. Thank You.
MegaTronn, sounds like someone is trying to sell you a single coil guitar! Buckers work just fine with Uni-Vibe type effects. But just like any effect, with high gain distortion, even EQ has little effect.
@BryanSmith66 Dude, you're pretty wrong, here. Most serious guitarists who lean toward more "traditional" guitars, ie. not crazy BC Rich's or angry-looking Dean metal monsters, usually have at least one Strat AND a Les Paul, because of their vast ranges in tonality.
hey humbuckers work, but they are not as bright as a single coil, also most people who like uni-vibe tones usually like strat tones, but if you have a coil tap you should be fine. I can send you a demo on my deja-vibe if you want.
the problem i have with fulltone vibe's is, mike fuller stated that the vibe trower uses is different, it's much thicker sounding, in fullers own words, LIKE A THICKER SOUP!!!! then after sales dropped he wound his neck in and said all vibes from here on will sound like trower's ie thicker... but come on!!! does a fisherman EVER tell you what bait he uses?? NO!!!clapton sig strats are £1.500 but the strats clapton uses are £15.000.. don't be fooled folks...
This is the best Vibe on the market today. Run it with a fuzz and it's dripping, creamy goodness. If you push your amp into saturation with this in front of it, well, it's too good to describe.
A dear friend (and tone connoisseur) saw Robin Trower live a few weeks ago and said THIS IS what he now uses for his luscious vibe tone. He said he sounded amazing with it.
@StratmanSixtyNine It is the best of heard of all of them, I can hear characteristics of the original univibe. Unfortunately the price is hard to swallow.
é um excelente pedal, mas o musico que está testando o pedal precisa ter mais conhecimento sobre o assunto. não se abre um potenciômetro até o fim.é lamentavel.
im not crazy about the whole heel swith. for that reason i think id raher have to first mini deja vibe. does anyone have this and know sturdy that switch is?
i just got this yesterday and the switch is my only concern. it seems like its only weakness but i like the foot speed control and the deja 2 didnt sound as good as the mini deja so time will tell i guess..
