I've been trying to find out for years what the music is - haunting and beautiful - as are the dancers - my favorite couple.

it's obviously a violin sonata in the key of G minor with number of modulations to different keys in the development. But it appears to be somewhat of a waltz, polonaise, or dumka, or something else, unless someone else with a greater sense of musical history can enlighten me. I don't think this is Chopin off the top of my head, check some other slavic composers out-this might be their brain child.
