  • What an amazingly smooth voice she's got! It's dang near inhuman how good it sounds!

  • Victorious is a horrid show. Love Norah Jones, though!

  • una voce Nuova, Moderna, che richiama una voce Calda e Fantastica di un vecchio Jazz

  • Fantastica...

    I love it :}

  • inascoltabile..

  • It's interesting how a song about chasing pirates is so mellow.

    It's cool.

  • :55...."silliest things"?/ "silly ass things"?

  • What makes you think she is genuine?

  • i find ironic how norah jones song is called chasing pirates and adele's song is called chasing pavements. & they both are soul songs! wow what a coincidence!

  • this song is too damn short

  • I had totally forgotten about this song {used to have it but lost everything on my computer} and for some weird reason the other day it popped into my head. How did I forget about you song!?

  • VIVA NORAH JONES!!

  • For me, this is the best song of Norah (except 'Don't know why).

a perfect combination of fantastic imagination and cool voice.

  • She should get more views than she has.

  • Pirates of pinzances that's Norah Jones, check in Drake's bay by the sea of Cortez, Tango in Chile, South America when angels fall, Veniszuela! Laura Bush spead's her legs in the white house Hugo Chavez observe Abraham Lincoln's portrait. US secret sevice full clearance. Boeing aircraft, nobody! 357,000 US commercial jets in Chronicle newspaper taken over. -kenji.747piggy back ride N.A.S.A. space shuttle, horse buggy & mule. Spacecraft from Tucson, Arizona to Fort Cronkite, Ca $77trillion!

  • IF you like Norah, You'll like me (maybe)... I got my first two songs up. 1930's style acoustic blues/jazz. Check me and say hello.

  • normalnie aż dech zapiera ten głos ;)

  • uwielbiam ten utwór

  • I LOve NOrah Jones...!!

  • Best song ever = Perfect Weapon by Black Veil Brides

  • I love Ms Norah Jones! I hope to do a duet with her someday if I can ever climb the ladder!

  • Nora Jones is a sweet beautiful person growing and continuously improving on their talent. Are you doing the same with yours, you who criticize one that does?

  • Lordy Lordy so fine

  • I love Norah Jones but, this is the first song by her that I actually did not enjoy :(

  • thumbs up if u love norah jones!!!!!

  • Exactly! WHO is Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus.....or even Taylor Swift? They are embarrassing, that's what they are. Real talent is found in Norah Jones and her music, yet do we ever see her in the front lines of media? She's one of America's most beautiful women! OMW

  • @TINALEED

    absolute right!!!

  • @TINALEED I totally agree, but she doesn't care about the hype, I believe she is as humble as she is talented and beautiful... she is doing the right things... thanks for having insight.. don't see that much on here.. so often it is who is the sexiest who is the prettiest, or who has the best dance moves... how 'bout who can sing??? lol... she just happened to be born with the ability to write, compose and sing... and beauty doesn't hurt her none!!!

  • @TINALEED OMW?

  • @loki768 haha I think it means 'Oh My Word' :)

  • 33 people dont know how to chase pirates.

  • it's just madonna's sample!!!

  • I wonder why all of these artists that r so good like norah jones, jill scott, india arie and erykah badu make such great music but they never get credit for it. Instead we have these posers like Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, theyre not real, Norah Jones is genuine :)

  • @lionsatemycereal94 It's called marketing, and probably some electronic enhancements in the recording.

  • @lionsatemycereal94 The most popular drink is soda...and it's the unhealthiest drink. the most popular eatery is mcdonalds....and it's the worst food. The most popular movies are actually the worst films...I have often pondered this question myself....It's making something out of nothing, It has ALOT to do with marketing....

  • Comment removed

  • @lionsatemycereal94 She's nominated for a grammy for 2011 :)

  • @lionsatemycereal94 that's probably just because, artist such as these don't need much credit to be given in order to be heard by people, who appreciate a bit of quality music instead of trash-pop...

  • @lionsatemycereal94 FYI she was nominated for Grammy award.

  • @lionsatemycereal94

    hell ya dude, shes legit

  • @lionsatemycereal94 jill scott is good but i didnt like it's ashame at all.

  • I don't know either.. I won't say those people totally suck, I mean they have SOME talent but Beiber, Cyrus and Selena Gomez can never be called "GREAT". It's obvious they have a fanbase or else they wouldn't be making money, but it's almost as if their fans don't know what real talent sounds like or even have a desire to listen to "real music" .Ppl go with whatever is trending and its a damn shame that real artists don't get the appreciation they deserve. I'm 24 and I approve this message

  • @lionsatemycereal94 its funny how passionately annoyed people get at teen pop stars. Its not a big deal! im not a fan of justin beiber but heaps of preteens are.. who cares. people like jill scott, india arie and erykah badu have done really well in their music careers anyway.

  • @lionsatemycereal94 I don't feel like they don't get credit for their good work. Each of the above-mentioned souful artists is very well known and has *made it*. Beyond that, it's just a matter of preference...

  • I just love to see her. The old cliche, voice of an angel/

  • this chicks songs are awsome xtreamly awsome

  • This is one of 3 songs on "the fall" i am not so fond of. The other 2 being "young blood" a song that has lyrics, and vocal IMO that is too hurried and rushed. And "stuck" which does not make sense, and the singer seems rushed and strained. I do like em, but they are not a patch on the other songs. Stand out gem being "Its gonna be" even know Norah cant nail the vocal as she does in the studio version.

  • beautiful song...

  • @bmcgraw3840 'Man of the hour'

  • 29 people missed the like button

  • Love you girl! SO much x x x

  • Norah is actually very beautiful. I can picture her in like 16th century England or something. I don't know, she's just really pretty. I love this song.

  • WOW, I'm in love with the beat!

  • she is an under-rated beauty

  • @pathorne1

I know she is completely amazing.. But under-rated? All of her albums since debut have been nr. 1 smash hits! She's not under-rated at all, and if she continues making music like this she'll get more and more "famous" if that's what you want over time. Like she isn't famous already. But under-rated? Not at all, almost everyone likes her.

  • She is not..!!! I LOve Her..!!

  • Norah...

hmmmmm....love change in ya flow..but def a lil sumthin missin...

holla at me.....fall in love all over again..

  • This is a very good song. To me, it doesnt sound like anything. She is very good singer/song writer. Really cool mellow sound that you would hear on satellite radio.

  • Need your Norah fix? I came across a cute vid of her gettting interviewed by Sway from Sympatico/ InMusic/The Hook blog from 09 chatting about this album. Really sweet :)

  • i love it, and her...also her father, best musician ever

  • Norah Jones is Bad. What a talent.

  • This song is great! Something special that stays in my mind!!! <3 it

  • Ok, this is the fourth time I've heard it and i'm loving it!! yes, i do hear a little of madonna's like a virgin in the beat. Nonetheless it's great!

  • this isn't pop at all!!!

  • Your so hawt Norah Jones. I bet you think your a big dork

  • Amazing song, I like a little bit retro sound. Like I´m listening to some track my mother loved when she was young. All day repeat worthy...:)

  • great number

  • Love de sa voix!!!

  • Norah is a genius and I think that I am in love with her (and I have a 160 iq)

  • @mikelwade really? that means you're really smart! you should tell all your friends

  • @eikogo Yeah and the frequency that this appears, tells me that you copy your remarks from a fortune cookie. stop wasting space. If that is all you can say.

  • @JanLV09 hey stfu fag y u gotta come up in here and start talking smack? gtfo

  • @mikelwade [smiles] gota be sad, ya just thinkin' 'bout loven. Must be lonely tryn' to make friends - let alone thinkn 'stead o makin' love. peace bro. Now say, "I feel like I am in love with Norah!" I really don't know how Norah does what she does, but I doubt thinking is all there is to it. [get the object of that preposition?]

  • I love Norah too, but the producer deserves major credit for disguising the downbeat and the whole arrangement of this catchy tune. Norah has some of the best vocal phrasing on the planet as well.

  • @cobaltjones

I've heard this rhythmic device used before but it is very cool. The strong accent is on the & of 1. When that is the first pulse you hear it jerks your ears around when the 2 and 4 are finally stated. I love this song and production. As a drummer I'd rather play this than tons of fills. It is all about feel. By the way I believe the famous James Gadson played on the session.

  • @webstercat yeah this layered meter stuff has been done, but often without the symmetrical 4/4 underpinning that keeps it sensual, unlike Led Zeppelin, who sometimes irritated with jagged meter diversions that were odd 5/8 exclusively instead of layered 5/8 over 4/8, for example. On this one, like you state, it's just a simple sliding the downbeat around.

  • @mikelwade / yourself

  • /cry

  • my mind is racing from pirates

  • Um great song. I think everyone should take their arguing elsewhere. So immature and pointless.

  • Her voice makes me melt,i love this song.

  • I'm so sorry

  • I love that song so, so much! It makes every bad mood going away :D

  • 10/10, 4 dis song. wohooo.the best new favourite song. yeahh.

  • heard this on House and thought it was a macy gray song lol

  • nice balance, not too pop. Good to see her take some risks. By the end of the song I was really into it, most great songs usually do that to you.

  • @dthomas621

the first three seconds of the beat determined that it'll stick around in my head.

Next ringtone that i'll use ;)

  • @dthomas621 for such a great tune smith as her that was ...hmm... very average. I wonder whether the is loosing it.

  • nice to see an indian do well for herself!

  • Idiotic comment, go and stick your head in the sand!

  • @santabanan i think ppl like u hv some mental problem so they live on online!! probably u whr born in a one night stand at the local pub.. She is the daughter of Ravi Shankar the famous beetles sitar master. Anyway i would not expect an decent thought from u, so piss off.

  • Comment removed

  • @santabanan No i wont choose my words. Have you seen these brits who keeps saying Arnold is british becoz he worked out in a gym in london for 2yrs before he left to USA. They dont understand any other language except childish rants like this is mine, finders keepers and all that. They wont get it till you rub it in.. do you get that? All they see is who is bigger and how much you have.

  • @KarthikSoun

Sure, yet it has nothing to do with your own rant,

no one will listen when someone gets overly defensive,

    good luck!

  • @santabanan this sort of cowardly curtsy annoys me no end. Why dont you come out and say ur curtsy is fake becoz u dont have the guts to back your argument against a loud mouth white guy. I dont give a shit about u or him.. fuck off prick.. end of conversation with a weakling like u. Now go bitch about how much better you are becoz of ur curtsy. end.

  • @KarthikSoun

How about you saying it in English so that there will be clear to all:(

  • @KarthikSoun

    Who? What?

Don't know who the heck you are talking about but . . .

    English please !

    It is " because"

    and "courtesy"

Your rambling will have a lot more clout if you can formulate a sentence!

  • oh really?

  • due to awesomeness

  • this song sound good

  • @vampirobrm ...... yeah right just so amazing

  • its a truely nice lovely song,I could fall in love with her. xxxx Norah I love you and your music

  • Brilliant intro with the off-timing. I've always admired Norah for her easy approach to music and her sultry jazz influence and that intro had me thinking in a different direction rythmically. More testimony to her brilliance.

  • it´s so great

  • love it !

  • Comme la dis stepharide

Ce titre me plonge dans mon enfance

Il a ce goût cette saveur tellement 80's

  • Amazing!!

  • Magnificent song..... and I am not even a fan!!

  • House ^^.

  • Norah... I love you.<3

  • Lol it's just surprising how a song's popularity can go sky-rocketing after being featured in a House episode. Maybe artists should learn that it's a sure portal to success. A similar thing happened with Jada's American cowboy being featured in House.
