All of the people represent the issues he must face throughout his life and how sometimes they bring him down but he always gets back up and never stops fighting. Kid Cudi himself is the guy who breaks the chain and all that and Mr. Rager is the one who kills him at the end and takes over his life, the "bad" side of Kid Cudi. That's my theory.

From the calm and peaceful look on the killer's face I thought that would be his good side eliminating the part of him, The Rager, that endured so much struggle and self-hatred. And sending him on his "way to heaven." That's how I like to interpret it, anyway.

Mr. Rager is Kid Cudi's inner demon that is trying to take over his life.

In the video, Mr. Rager breaks into Cudder's soul and is met by Cudi's guardians, who he proceeds to fight. When the woman blinds him, it represents how Rager would take him over and make him blinded by material things such as women. Afterward Cudi comes up and stabs Rager, therefore killing him for good.

this video was freakin awesome the cinematography was of the chain and the director really got the point through, the music cues were right on with the drums to when he starts singing and the first punch. The cues were raw as hell having everything in unison gave it an awesome affect and the awkward shots of mr.rager gave this vid a really amazing look and feel and everything fits into the song so well i loved it.
