Does anyone knows how he does the ''scream'' sound at 3:35??? Im making a cover with this theme and im looking for this sound. I have a K2600XS. Thanks
I do agree that Berezovsky knows what he's doing, and the fact that Rudess had been playing piano since before he [Berezovsky] was born may have no effect on your opinion, as it is not meant to.
My sole intent is simply to discover whether or not your original comment was simply based on the fact that you are biased because Rudess plays a Kurzweil or a KORG, and not a Steinway.
Well, I don't mean to attempt to cause an argument, but for verityi's sake, Rudess uses two, and an iPod touch.
Mainly focusing on the Korg OASYS, Rudess uses experimental instruments such as the Harpejji and the Haken Continuum, as well as his own creations.
Also, not that I don't appreciate classical piano, but there is an infinitely grand difference between the skill of a "keyboardist," one who sets his hands on a MIDI or otherwise board, or a "pianist," whose definition I'm sure you know.
You can find this song originally played at the CD "Rudess Morgenstein Project" with Jordan Rudess and Rod Morgenstein. The other songs are pretty cool. My personal favorite ones are this one, Over the Edge and Odd Man Out.
This has some of the greatest melodies I've ever heard...simply beautiful and it just shows that Rudess is a true god when it comes to keyboards/synthesizers.

@Axorcemn not true he born pianist after he study synth.and if you look more videos in youtube you can see he play steinway:) 1
kurzyroly 1 year ago
@kurzyroly
Well, for starters, Rudess studied piano before he took up the synth at 18
I don't know what you're trying to say.
I know that Rudess started on the piano.
The only thing I'm attempting to push is the difference between a virtuoso pianist and a keyboardist.
Frankly, I know all the videos on YouTube, and Risk and I are discussing the differences of keyboarding styles or preferences.
He/she prefers something that I see underdeveloped, and I prefer something that's seen as bland.

@Axorcemn
Seen as bland by him/her.

I wonder what Jordan thinks when he hears someone call him a God? "I'm an old man! My wife gives me extra fiber in the morning!"
