  • Really appreciate the info man....previously i was using Fl Studios and its a completely different lay out and interface at the same time....So learning this was like learning a whole different language but I'm getting the hang of it and working on projects everyday now...

    thanks again!

  • Thanks for sharing this, it's very helpful

  • thx heaps brO

  • thank you for the useful info! :D one thing I had to point out tho is that when you sent the kick to a bus channel, you should have muted the bus otherwise the kick gets doubled which distorts the sound...

  • Good vid that....

  • that didnt thicken the kicks it just added a sub bass .. which would proberly interfere with any bass you decide to add to the song .. thanks but wasnt very helpful for me personally

  • hello adam this doesnt go with this video but thanks for the vids they are awesome. is there an effect that makes the sound like an lp, or record that makes the cracks and pops like on a record player or turn table thanks

  • @ewewell There is and it's actually a free one as well!!! A very good one too.. The name is Vinyl and it is by Izotope. You can head over to there site and take a look at it.. If you can't find the link let me know!!! It is a really good plug-in and it will let you do exactly what you want to do.....

  • Awesome! You're right, I've never used the test oscillator. Still don't know what it's for (except maybe to send out a basic signal to test a track), but this is a great use for it.

  • Hey Adam, this comment doesnt have much to do with this video but I want to know if you could make a video talking about quantizing imported audio...I could really use your help..I tracked out a loop i made in reason 5 and imported it, in wav form, to logic and It appeared as audio, when I went to quantize it, it wouldnt let me, care to help??

  • Awesome!!

  • Thanks Adam

  • Sweet. I always wondered what that Test Oscillator was for. Thanks!

    Favorited, as usual.

  • the first part of the tutorial was great. that thing with the test oscillator at the end was super annoying. great vid though

  • Yay first comment! Could you make a tut on how to make your own kicks sir? I currently got a sweet mix and I have thousands of kicks, but I want to know what method you use to make your own kicks.

  • @HectorAndresMayoral Clever, but probably wouldn't work well with a track that contains a sub bass that's in a different frequency or a progressive bass line... Specially if they're ridiculously dissonant! Thanks for the tip though, I'll keep it in mind.

  • FIRST!
