I remember that old coin tone trick, however that wasn't possible in 1995. They stopped using "The tone" around the 80's. Then they went to straight coin mechs which were a tad harder to trick even by using slugs but it was still possible to slug the machine.

My view hacking is easier today. With more technologies implemented (SQL Injections, Cross site scripting, Javascript holes, etc.) Hijacking WiFi even with WEP isn't that hard as long as their is enough arp requests. People like hte feeling of being secure, though most times then not - they are not. Besides, if you have a DETERMINED hacker, they WILL find a way. It may just take allot of time to figure it out.

@stupidstuffx depends on the amount of code it took to create the virus, i'd say (if it weren't a movie) that the divinci virus was a 28 and a half split, that's 1 and a half million lines of code, which isn't much, most of it would be for the graphical divinci that gives the message, so if say the Gibson system (used by ellingson mineral) had 100mb of ram it would only use about 25% to give the message, and less than 1% when waiting for zero day (day the virus launches)

The people depicted here are crackers, and I don't recommend it. All I can say is that people who crack end up in a lot of trouble when they find out they're not as smart as they think they are.

I think it would depend on the reason for the arrest. For cyber crime they probably would let him get dressed if they have no reason to believe they present a physical danger. Drug dealers and killers or other dangerous criminals they would probably nail like this.
