ive only watched dead space downfall i never seen this before from the trailer it looks 2-D then 3-D wtf kind animation is it or would it be waste of time watching it at all ?

I read something before that the creators said they had an idea for a 3 and at the end of dead space 2 after the credits there is a little dialogue between 2 people from another station so im pretty confident there will be!

I was really stoked to watch this movie cause I figured Issac was going to be in it at some point, for more then 5 seconds, so I was on the edge of my seat the whole movie and when this part came I was so furious cause only his name was shown. Also, in my opinion, the 3d animation didn't fit well with the rest of the movie. It almost seemed half-assed and disappointed me a little.. but none-the-less Dead Space is still, and always will be, my favorite game and obsession. x3

Sorry to disappoint those who are expecting a 3rd installment of Dead Space, I for one was also want them to. But EA has shut down "Visceral Games" company, so there will be no Dead Space 3 :(
@KingDiamondHead EA actually did close down Visceral's Melbourne Studio (one branch of Visceral), so they closed down a part of Visceral, but not all of Visceral. It's still sad though. :( The Visceral team in Melbourne are no longer a part of Visceral now, they have basically lost their jobs. I hear that studio was working on a game too (not DS3), Idk what the fate of that game is now...

Dead Space didn't even have MP until the second one, as it is a SP game, the MP in the 2nd is just a "small bonus". So I highly doubt that anyone who likes both the first 2 games will pre-order only for the MP alone. It makes no sense really. Dead Space has never been about the MP.

Not many people really care about MP in what is meant to be an SP experience and vice versa with MP games, unless they can hold their own somehow to whatever is the main draw of the game itself. SP and MP are two totally different experiences that can cater to two totally different audiences. It's a hard thing to balance out. I think it's a flawed tactic myself, to try to cater to everyone.

@AgentX7Y yeah after issac blew up the marker from the 1st game ,they experimented on him and storman to find out how to ,build a new marker ,i think the 2nd game is 3 years after the 1st ,so they had issac in stasis and on meds the whole time ..also get dead space downfall .that is an awesome animation aswell ,i think its one you tube but 1 part was missing ,but still watchable for free..in the 2nd game on a certain level you can see them growing the markers,which issac and stros made for E G

First i want to add that i forgot that DeadSpace2: Severed is actually the same event during the breakout in extraction, dead space extraction starts with the girl (dont remember name) talking to Gabriel, her husband, wich in dead space 2: severed you play as Gabriel and it starts with him talking to her, so i woud say it should be at the same place as Extraction.
Also, to be honest i did not know about the novels and comics, i should check them up...

@COD4Mannen Dead Space 2 and it's addon Severed travel over the same path just different directions like at the part with the burning ship where you fight the first boss as Isaac you get there as Gabriel and the room is destroyed and the flaming ship is there along with a brute that busts through a door that was clearly still there when Isaac goes into the room. Leading the player to believe that Gabriel and Isaac are both traveling at around the same time.

Man I really didn't like this movie. The story was bad, the dialogue was bad, the animation was bad, the whole thing was just terrible. The only redeeming feature was Christopher Judge voicing the black guy. I really don't know why they keep thinking Dead Space anime is a good idea and that's not the retarded anti-anime comment it sounds like, I just don't think it fits.

From what I understand, a fully formed Marker transmits a signal. It makes intelligent people manufacture more Markers while it drives idiots to insanity. The infection on the Sprawl occurred because Stross and Clark built more Markers. Then, the Markers most likely transmitted the signal to a bunch of idiots who killed themselves, became Necromorphs or Infectors, and viola, you have a full scale invasion of angry "zombies" waiting for Convergence.
I am of the opinion that he is alive. In watching the Aftermath, you can clearly see that he was kept as a patient who experienced direct contact with the Marker and survived.
There was only 1 marker.. an ENORMOUS marker. It drives more than just idiots insane. It's not that the marker makes people necromorphs through killing themselves.. it reanimates the dead. The added bodies of suicides just helps. and... it's not an infection... its just human bodies reanimated through alien attachment. Have you even played Deadspace 1 and 2 or did you just watch the movies.. which.. BARELY explain anything.
I've played both all the way through finding every single hidden message as well as watching the films. Which is why I believe what I do; the series explains all of what I said in detail. Anyways, the point of the argument is done, we know Isaac is alive. I was simply trying to determine that with conjecture, not real spoilers.

After Dead Space: Downfall you have: Dead Space: Extraction, it plays out just before and during the breakout, and now they added Dead Space: Severed as an addon to Dead Space 2, where you play as Gabriel during the breakout in the mines, and he tries to get to his wife, so the list should be like:

First i want to add that i forgot that DeadSpace2: Severed is actually the same event during the breakout in extraction, dead space extraction starts with the girl (dont remember name) talking to Gabriel, her husband, wich in dead space 2: severed you play as Gabriel and it starts with him talking to her, so i woud say it should be at the same place as Extraction.
Also, to be honest i did not know about the novels and comics, i should check them up...

@COD4Mannen Dead Space 2 and it's addon Severed travel over the same path just different directions like at the part with the burning ship where you fight the first boss as Isaac you get there as Gabriel and the room is destroyed and the flaming ship is there along with a brute that busts through a door that was clearly still there when Isaac goes into the room. Leading the player to believe that Gabriel and Isaac are both traveling at around the same time.

Man I really didn't like this movie. The story was bad, the dialogue was bad, the animation was bad, the whole thing was just terrible. The only redeeming feature was Christopher Judge voicing the black guy. I really don't know why they keep thinking Dead Space anime is a good idea and that's not the retarded anti-anime comment it sounds like, I just don't think it fits.

From what I understand, a fully formed Marker transmits a signal. It makes intelligent people manufacture more Markers while it drives idiots to insanity. The infection on the Sprawl occurred because Stross and Clark built more Markers. Then, the Markers most likely transmitted the signal to a bunch of idiots who killed themselves, became Necromorphs or Infectors, and viola, you have a full scale invasion of angry "zombies" waiting for Convergence.

There was only 1 marker.. an ENORMOUS marker. It drives more than just idiots insane. It's not that the marker makes people necromorphs through killing themselves.. it reanimates the dead. The added bodies of suicides just helps. and... it's not an infection... its just human bodies reanimated through alien attachment. Have you even played Deadspace 1 and 2 or did you just watch the movies.. which.. BARELY explain anything.
