Nah, this is from KH2 on the PS2. There is a bass, brass, and the piano is more complex than the GBA. Plus, the second half of the song is a bit different. I guess the OST is, yeah, a remake of the original GBA.

Well, this is the music played during the battle with axel, but this is not necessarily his 'theme.'

A character's theme would be the music anytime the character is featured (for the most part) out of battle. Now, by my mere speculation, you would not hear this particular selection in those times as it would be a bit over dramatic to do so.

If anything else, the OST is titled 13th Struggle, but if you want, you could call it VS. Axel or something along those lines.
