I love both Personas from PS1 and PS2, but I just HATE the character design from the PS2 ones. The ones from PS1 are by far better.

Great music. I only played p3and p4, and and liked their music. (especially final boss musics, the Almighty, and the one that goes with Nyx) This one track remind me of Nocturne/ Lucifer's call.

Am I the only one who's tired of everyone complaining about the assumption that the PSP version of IS's boss theme is gonna be J-pop?

Here's a hint; with the exception of Bloody Destiny from P1, NONE of the boss themes from the newer Persona games are J-pop. 'Member Unavoidable Battle and I'll Face Myself -Battle-?

Also, we all know you have the option to change OSTs so you don't even need to complain.

it seems like there are two types of persona fans: ones that like the psx soundtracks, and ones that like the new soundtracks

personally, i like all of persona's soundtracks. plus, people who don't like the new battle themes in p3 and p4 have terrible taste in music imo

@DesirableVStudios Sorry if I came on as narrow-minded. I don't want to seem that way. Not all people that hate jRap and jPop have bad taste in music. It's just those people that don't like Shoji Meguro as a composer because he's different than the original Megaten composers.

Plus, I was referencing more to his songs like "Battle for Everyone Souls" and "The Almighty".

You have to admit, though, that they should have at least had an option to use the original music from P1 in the PSP port! It would have made both parties happy. At least they're doing that with Innocent Sin!

In the beginnig it is sorta hard to learn. But with time you'll see it is pretty cool. And come to think of it: with a good japanese it is able to play nice games like this and do some other cool stuff.

I plan on getting this game (along with a Japanese PS2) when I get a good hold on the language. I'm not too far, though: I've got all the hiragana learned, and I'm about 20 into the katakana (not counting (han)dakuten variations). I figured I would start base up and learn characters first (kanji is next, obviously), and then go on to further vocabulary and grammar.

Yeah, since katakana is used for foreign-derived words, there's a lot of recognizable words "spelled" that way.

I've been learning on my own through books, but it's fun at least.

By the way, I may be mistaken, but I don't think it would be pronounced "Perusona," even though the characters read that way. I believe that's a case where the "u" sound would be left out, similar to sukiyaki (pronounced "skee-yah-kee).

After looking back, I actually think it WOULD be pronounced as written: ペルソナ = "perusona," and it is pronounced as such.

The reason I mentioned that is because between certain consonants, an "i" or "u" sound is often left out. However, one of my books does not mention "r" as being one of those, lol (although "s" and "k" are).

I would suggest the Tuttle Kanji and Kana books (Amazon to see them; my Barnes and Noble had them) to help you with writing if you want some books.

Actually some sounds really are "swallowed" up Like Samanosuke is /Samanoske/ (the Onimusha Samurai) and Sasuke is /Saski/ Gotta read A LOT of manga and watch A LOT of anime to become a master

Granted, I might not have the last 3 in since I'm still thinking of ideas for it but what I will definitely have is an original character who in nyarlathotep's son but is also a "wild card" character like minato, aigis, and souji were. That seems like a good idea for the other persona fanfic i'm making as well that takes place after the events of Persona 3 FES: The Answer (but before persona 4) when Damien Kurosaki's (my original character) persona power awakens. Kagetsuchi will be the main villian for that one though. I'm thinking of making it so that he doesn't find out that he isn't just an unknowing avatar, but also nyarlathotep's son until later on in the crossover story though.

I changed my mind as i was writing the first fanfiction (which brings about the awakening of damien's persona). Instead of kagutsuchi, it would be more fitting to put YHWH in since damien, chidori (yes, I'm putting her in this as well), Raidou (The reason I put him in has something to do with what I'm planning regarding him, minato, and naoto in the crossover), and their allies fight the four horsemen of the apocalypse in it. I'm thinking of changing damien's persona from osiris to camael though
