Hey man. I have been patiently waiting for my MPC1000 to come in the mail and I am asking around for advise. Do you think its worth it to buy sample kits or just create my own. I am talking about all my basic shit like kicks, high hats ect. I see a lot of kits for sale all over the net but I am broke and they all cost around 60$. @3fingerjones if your looking for kick snares hi hats look around online, their usually packs that you can download for free. If not do it the old school more satisfying way, sample your drums off records.

I have a turntable, but I have to load them on the comp before and chop them there rather then doing it all on the mpc. Help me out G! Thanks!
