As Mayor you cannot investigate corruption at City Hall. By the terms of the city charter, the City Attorney works for and defends the corrupt officials. If you are serious about ending corruption, you need to make it a campaign pledge to move to change the City Charter so that we have both a City Attorney who counsels the City and its officials and a separate office of City Prosecutor to investigate and criminally prosecute the city councilmembers behind the corruption.
great job kevin james:i look forward to the day when we put you into office as the mayor of los angeles. at least in one city, l.a. in one level of goernment meaning federal, state, city. there will be one politician that we know is corrupt like our present mayor, city council and supervisors, board of education members and d.w.p. directors. let's flush the toilet on all of these corrupt politicians. i will be calling, walking and talking for your election.
