400$ may seem pricey but when u think about it there is ur brushless system, around 180$, a sick 2.4 ghz radio,around 100$, so basically ur getting a sweet factory built race truck for a hundred bucks!!!

I think it's a good car. Just not for experienced racers. Me, I don't want one simply because I get everything this car could give me and more from my 1/8th-scale buggy and truggy. But for someone who's just starting out, I would totally sell it to them, because it's got many good things going for it: 2.4gHz radio, battery, widespread parts availability, and it's almost guaranteed to be a huge class, which means there will be plenty of support for it from other owners at the track. Good truck.

I can understand the price since it's RTR, but for that much it should at least have steel CVDs and aluminum shocks.

I'd rather buy the Jammin SCRT 10 or the Hyper SC 10 they're not RTR but they're more "race spec" than the Slash. This is more of a brasher than a racer IMO.

just think dude.. 200 for a 2wd skash,.. then add like 180 for the brushless system so your now akready at 380,..the nprice for the 4wd.. but now the 4wd skash also includes an about 80 2.4 ghz radio and the front tires spin so for 380, that one hell of a fucking deal man!!!

Remember, this Slash comes with:

-VXl-3 ESC and Velenion brushless motor

-4wd( Duh)

-2.4Ghz Spektrum TQ radio.

Also the Traxxas Blue aluminum extruded center shaft which has no cups or dog bones so there is no wobble. Also is spins true. There is a lot more too. Check out the Traxxas website.

the sc 4x4 class is definatly gonna be the next big thing in this up coming season but. ive driven both the traxxas 4x4 and ofna's sc.

as a basher id go w/ traxxas, no contest there.

but for racing, it's gonna be hard for the traxxas 4x4 to keep up with the ofna sc.
